STUCK in a Rick Astley skin!

    I was playing Minecraft with my friend on a day that I had chosen to casually explore and look for a new skin. I ended up stumbling upon a Rick Astley skin and thought it would be funny to try it on and walk around wearing it in different servers. We had a good laugh at the way my character was smiling back at you, his red hair, and his pale skin. Once the fun had begun to wear down, I started the search for a new skin. I found some pretty awesome looking skins and was excited to try them out in-game. I attempted to change my skin several times, but I remained looking like Rick Astley! I was so very frustrated, and demanded a screen share from the friend that I was skyping in order to ensure that he wasn't just messing with me. It is 2014, and I just got Rick Roll'd... in Minecraft. :mad:

    Lol isn't getting Rick Roll'd something that happens only if you see the video? Personally, though, I like skins that aren't humans. I like terminator-sort skins and stuff a lot more.

    Haha that skin is amazing! i will be using that one from now on! its not really rickrolling but i think im trolling enough people with it

    That is an awesome skin to have. You could quite literally troll people in-game by just wearing that skin and walking up to them.

    I guess the skin simply refuses to ever give you up, and it's certainly not going to let you down. I didn't quite get it, though. Were your friends actually messing with you, or what? Was your skin actually changed?

    Lol! It must have been awesome walking around on servers in that sweet skin, I presume! A real good way to get some newbies looking at you. But I don't get why you can't change your skin. Minecraft does not allow third parties to control and modify the skins of accounts, so it is impossible for the skin author to force apply the skin on your character.
    The possible reasons, therefore, are: either you are trolling, there is a network error with Minecraft 's servers, or the skin loves you too much and some unknown entity binds you forever with that skin :D.
