I absolutely love Munchkin and Cards Against Humanity! Both can easily fill a night to the brim with fun. I usually play with my family or with my boyfriend's friends and have an absolute blast. In Munchkin, it's like a role-playing game in a way, but it can be so trolly. If you haven't played either, I definitely recommend them.

I like to play Billiards it is simply a great game. In addition Monoppoly is good but it is really time consuming if there are for instance four person playing it.

I used to play a lot of Snakes and Ladder and Battleship as a kid does that count? Also what's the difference between table top and board games? Did you just invent that word to refer to games played on tables?

Anyway, Cards Against Humanity is gaining popularity and I've played it once or twice with friends.

I've tried out Warhammer 40k before and even gotten my own cobbled together army of Space Marines under the Blood Ravens chapter. I have to say that I really love the customizability and tactical and strategic depth to the game. Though for the most part, I find the really large amount of rules to be too much of a hassle to deal with most of the time especially the rules for close combat Too many things going on in there for what effectively is a bunch of dudes swinging chainsaws at each other.

I love tabletop gaming! I recently joined a guild in my city and they organize the most awesome events and game sessions. I've finally been able to hook up with a great DnD party and we've been playing for a while now. DM's awesome so I think this'll last for a while and I'm thrilled about that.

Is it pool you are talking about? If yes, definitely! Actually it's quite popular where I live and tournaments are organized on a monthly basis. I even won around $50 once for reaching 3rd place! So much money!!!:eek::eek::eek:

I love tabletop but I will never touch Warhammer with a 10 foot pole. The upkeep on that game is way too costly and frankly the company only favors certain factions. I've played some eons ago when I had some friends who were really into it but cost to enjoyment ratio wasn't what I was looking for. That being said- Settlers of Catan is loads of fun. I play Anima Tactics now and then since it's more balanced for shorter gameplay and doesn't revolve around spending your entire life savings to build up a whole army. It's a skirmish game and I don't need to constantly drop bucketloads of cash for new rule books, ect. Arkham Horror's fun as long as I'm not the one rolling the dice haha. Apparently me and 6 sided dice makes for a very frustrating or boring game. Winning rolls huzzah. I'm banned from playing Risk.

I remember when I was in school and I played Battleships with my friends on pieces of paper. Those were the best times ever!

I played TONS of Monopoly, Sorry, air hockey, foosball, and Trouble as a kid. Lately I've enjoyed billiards as a friend of mine across the street has a mini table. Plenty of great times.
