I just started playing this game and so far I'm liking it a lot. Enough for finishing it and try the other sequels / titles. I must say it's the first time I played this perspective of battles (side scrolling, a bit weird). It has some good music too.

How about you guys, did you like this game? (No spoilers please).

I played the PS1 version and actually liked the game. I haven't played any other Tales game though. I did perhaps play Tales of Destiny (for less than an hour) and can't recall a bit from the game. I heard it got a nice remake for the PS2 and that it was simply amazing, I would try that one for sure. Which other Tales games have you heard of?

It's a pretty good JRPG, a bit dated in this day and age, but quite worth playing, in my opinion. Story is quite solid, with a few good twists throughout and the battle system is still very much entertaining - I just wouldn't recommend the GBA version of the game, anyone who wants to play it is better of sticking with the PS1 or SNES version with a fan translation.
