Taliyah

I heard that they are releasing or released a hot patch for her. I think that her kit is interesting. I haven't gotten a chance to play much this patch, but I think that she might end up being like Illoai a bit. I don't think she'll see pro play for a while. In terms of the meta, I think she's a good pick into teams with a lot of mobility due to her large rock zone (her W I think?). My opinion on her isn't really that set in stone yet since I haven't gotten to play much this patch though.

 

Has a high skill cap but other than that I think Taliyah is a pretty cool champ with an unique spell kit. She needs a slight buff though, she gets dominated easily.

 

Haven't been able to get her yet but she seems like a cool champ. Some people I've played with already has her and she looks fun to play. Honestly, I'm not really that excited about her and I don't see myself playing her often.

 

Easily-counterable is the first trait I can find. I think Rito's out of champ ideas and just want to release them in-bulk without actually thinking of the outcome. The outcome here is, that everyone (well, the majority) hates her. Just look at the win rate, 35,5%!

 

I think that low win rate is due to people not understanding how to play her properly, it's not the easiest champion to play and it has a high skill-cap. Remember when Thresh came out and it had a low win rate as well, now he's one of the most OP supports in the game.

 

She has pretty good mobility, and her skillset is rather innovative. However many people aren't gonna enjoy playing her as they see her in the support role.

 

I'm not too into it but usually it takes a bit of time for me to warm up to new characters so I'm sure my opinion will change over time. I think eventually we'll have a clearer picture of how she fits and what needs to be changed.
