Yeah, well, some of you, or most of you, have probably seen this, but I haven't heard or seen any discussions about it. I just made a new facebook user to check out some stuff, and ended up checking out THQ's site and found their screenshots of Last Light, including this one:

I'll bet you my bullets that if you get to see this entertainment-scene in the game, the nosalis will eventually suddenly hop up and eat the face off the guy leading the show with the staff. :p

I never understood the reason behind moral points. They did not effect the game at all.

The moral points are what the two different endings depend on, Lurkers :p

Lurker, moral points may change the ending of the game, but the game itself never explain to you what the points are nor how you can get them. They ended up being pretty random, like taking bullets from a corpse, or talking to someone.

Skaara, that's what I though when I saw the picture, the mutant will breake free and kill someone, leading to some minor event where you have to kill it before it causes more damage, and maybe receiving a moral point based on how many people you saved, I think that would be cool

Not really. You can decide to kill or not kill them either way. You have six shots in the revolver. It takes four to take down the Dark One, giving to two left to shoot the laser designator. I played a walkthrough where I was a complete asshole, still saved the Dark Ones. Moral points don't really matter.

Well it does seem plausible that a lurker could be somewhat taimed. And indeed if I were a metro dweller I would give an obscene amount of bullets to watch one jump through a ring or balance a ball on it's nose.... Then get hungry, roaring devilishly at the crowd causing a minor panic before jumping and mauling it's master. Huh,... Good times... Goooood times.

Well then you must have failed to be a complete asshole and mistakely gotten enough moral points. I tried twice to get enough moral points for the good ending, but both times ended up with the bad ending. I eventually had to use a guide to find enough moral points. You see, at the very end, after shooting the Dark one, the rest is only cutscenery if you don't have enough moral points. If you do have enough moral points, though, you will be standing there, able to move around by yourself, and thereby able to shoot down the missile launcher if you wish to do so. But without enough moral points, you can't do that.

All I know is I told the kid to fuck off, didn't help the sick family, stole from the musician, walked away from everyone when they tried talking to me, and shot up Bourbon's body. If that doesn't make me an asshole, I have no idea what is wrong with that game.

That is a known glitch in the 360 version where you get positive morale points instead of negative

I'm not sure if Moral Points truly change the ending due to the fact that I shot the targeting system but I'm pretty sure I didn't have enough moral points

Isn't that in the Venice Station? If it is I don't think I'd be watching a Nosalis or Lurker jump around I'd be somewhere else.

  18. No, it's not. That's the Theater station. The bas-reliefs match the ones from the real station, which is a good enough indication of it's name.

I've made a run with all the possible supposedly negative points. Still got the true ending. I assume you get to make a decision at the end of the game regardless of being a goody two-shoes or a nasty person. You just have to learn enough about the world to be able to make a choice based on your knowledge.

I've never (no matter how hard I've tried) got the 'good' ending. Every play through I've done has been merciful. Perhaps if I try to drift to the dark side I'll get the 'good' ending somehow. Then again, twill be hard to kill and deny the innocent in my eyes...

To get the good ending you shoot the targeting system.
