Here's the trailer: What do you guys think? The massive world and free-roam looks so awesome. I think this is a great new take on LoZ, as open-world hasn't really been a staple in the series at all, unless you count Wind Waker's sailing. IMO, the game visually looks beautiful, opting for bright, lively tones combined with somewhat cartoony animations. I might just have to pick up a WiiU just for this game.
I am going to get the game and enjoy, regardless. I am a collector of all things that are Legend of Zelda no matter what they are. I know people give Nintendo a lot of flack considering the art direction of the games, but I don't want every Legend of Zelda to look dark and gritty (Twilight Princess) and no I don't want all of them to be cell shaded. But this is the way the games going to look so I'm going to live with it.
Have you guys seen the new gameplay footage that came out approximately a week ago? it looks gorgeous. The open field is VAST, I can't stress this enough. I imagine there will be some sort of collectible skulltula kind of quest, where you will have to explore the whole map. Also there was this new slow down feature to aim better with your attacks, I'm sure that's going to be equally as fun. I seriously can't wait to play this game.
It's going to be incredible, and I'll have it on day one. This could be the best Zelda game ever created. I say that with some confidence, even though it hasn't even come out yet!

I have seen the trailer on you tube as well. I really like the graphics. If I could save up enough money I would get it myself.
I already have a Wii U, but I'm hearing rumors that this game is getting moved to the Nintendo NX. I seriously hope those aren't true, or if they are that they release the game on both consoles, just like Twilight Princess was on the Gamecube and the Wii. Anyways, yes, I love the new footage they have shown for the game, the open world idea seems amazing, especially for Nintendo. I hope you can play as Link with his hood on, that outfit is probably my favorite Link outfit I have ever seen. If only Smash Bros. would get a DLC pack with new alts...
