The Scenery

    As many of you know, I'm technically new to the game. Frankly, I keep having to stop to take a look at and just enjoy the scenery of it all. My favorite places are those that have hills and trees surrounding bodies of water. I was wondering what scenery you each like best from within the game? I like pretty much all scenery involving hills and water, but if you have a specific area you like for it's scenery, that's fine too.

    The game is definitely pretty enough on higher settings. I like all of the game's scenery because it's done well without any major weak spots or ugly areas.

    I agree with troutski, Blizzard has always put a lot of time and effort into giving us the best graphical interfaces we can have. Their attention to detail on all graphics in most of their games is some of the best in the gaming industry. I think it is nice even how on a slower computer the game still looks good and has the ability to run smoothly. if it doesn't than I think maybe the computer is just to slow or old.

    The game is absolutely beautiful. Even the old zones are really attractive.

    Some of my fondest memories of the game are just walking around Elwynn Forest.

    I remember in the original game's documentary, they talked about how they studied hundreds of trees just to put together Elwynn. They were very meticulous when it came to bringing the world to life.

    Today, there's lots of really cool new things too. I love how the grass sways when you move through it.

    I know! That little attention to detail always seems to get overlooked in most other online games! Honestly, it tends to get overlooked in most games in general.

    If you've never had an opportunity to play WoW on ultra settings, you don't know what your missing. The landscape is simply beautiful!

    Nagrand is one of my favorite zones in WoW. The floating islands and the waterfalls is amazing. I also like how serene the safari like surroundings are.
