    The Tyrian Taleweaver wants YOU!

The Tyrian Taleweaver is an online in-character news paper set in Guild Wars 2. We want to provide information about the GW2 game in a fun and entertaining format.

Freelance Writers: Do you like to write as your in game character? We are looking for Cooking Recipies, Bar reviews, Breaking News stories, Fashion reviews, Science reports, Travel Guides and Interviews. Send them into the Taleweaver. You might just see them in the next issue.

Comic artist(s): We want someone who has a natural affinity with humor and being able to translate that into a short 2 or 3 box comic. We would be honored to have submissions of drawings, paintings and the like from the community. Same as with articles, submissions should be in-character and can include a variety of themes related to GW2.

Advertisers: If you made a nice fake ad please sent them in, so we'll have a nice collection to fill up blank spaces. We might consider 'real' ads promoting your trade or guild, but we reserve the right not to publish them.

We do have some guidelines, such as no pornography or graphic/excessive violence, but each piece will be looked at by the staff and decided upon. Room is limited, but everything chosen that isn't in the next issue will be put in a cue for future issues.

    The benefits?

Well as an artist you'll receive more exposure (we can include RL contact info in the credits if you want.) and in-character fame! Your characters name will be in print for thousands of GW2 players to see. Is there anything better than that?

If you have something to send in please post it here.

If you have any questions please PM me or visit the Tyrian News Network site.

If you would like to join the Tyrian News Network team visit the website and fill out an application.

    Were need your help

The Tyrian Taleweaver wants to expand coverage once the game launches and report on anything and everything we can possibly report. It's a daunting task, so we need your help. We've put together a list of areas we'd like to cover, and by no means is the list exhaustive. If you have ideas, we're always happy to hear them.

Feedback is always appreciated, we're already working hard on the next issue, and making it better than the first.

We have some ideas for some new columns we would like to add to the Tyrian Taleweaver but we need reporters to write the columns. Here is a list of the Reporters we need.

A Sports Reporter - someone to report on the mini games that will be all over Tyria. Keg Brawl is looking to be a great team sport and will need covering. There is talk that the mini pet arena battle will be in sometime after launch. That will defiantly need covering.

Fashion Reporter - Someone to keep up with the trends in fashion. The new fashions in the gem shop. What's in fashion and what's not. Hot looking armor and city clothes pictures. What dye colors are the most popular.

Political Reporter - Writes on the political state in Tyria. A reporter for each of the main Races is needed.

Economic Reporter - What is selling in the market place. Gem prices ups and downs. What is going on with the Merchants and Cartels.

Entertainment Reporter - Tavern, nightlife and the fun things to do in the cities.

PvP Reporter - Champion rankings. Who to watch. Maybe some interviews of players. PvP tactics and map reviews. This is going to b a hard asignment because the write ups must be in-character. You can't use game slang. We will help anyone who wants to give it a try.

Comic Artist - a comic written about the world of Tyria. We want a funny 2-3 pane or just 1 picture with caption bubbles.

Staff Photographers - Someone to take interesting pictures. Action shots, landscapes, anything beautiful or interesting.

We are always looking for Freelance reporters. If you just have one story or happen to see an event and write about it send it in. There is no dead lines for the Freelancers. No obligations. You can contribute what you want, when you want.

What other types of articles would you like to see?
What else can we add to make this a more fun and informative paper?
What would you like to read about in upcomming issues?
