    Didn't retrieve throwing knifes after use.. used MGR ammo for humans. How not to play? :D

    the rambo approach looks fine if you want to kill everyone.. still..
    there are ways to save lots of ammo (and sell it afterwards)

    Why not make the game more difficult for yourself? ...Complete it for the Shadow Ranger achievement (not killing any humans in the game and not raising alarms), but on Original Hard or Ranger Hard difficulty. Then you can brag. And yes, I'm bragging. :p In all homesty though, even that isn't as hard as it would seem - it's just frustrating on some of the levels and a lot more exciting and unusual than normal FPS gameplay. Since I did this for my first playthrough of the game, it made Last Light for me even more unique and different from the typical FPS. I highly recommend playing this way. :)

    Guys, M2033 wasn't really a hard game either. :eek:hwell: Sure, Last Light is easier - but they are not worlds apart in terms of difficulty. They're still quite similar.

    Gotta Agree with Bamul.. they are pretty similar in terms of difficulty. Both are easy. Never understood why Metro 2033 was classed as a "difficult" game.

    I just dont get this hysteria about game being "easy". I played Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light in rapid succession and there was little difference in the challenge both games provided to me.
    If I want to play difficult game, I turn to multi-player or MMO games. That is where real challenge is, real opponents.
    You can of course make the game deliberately more difficult by self-imposed restrictions or going after some of more tricky achievements but that is not for everyone.

    Lastly, I'm sure 4A Games are listening to a feedback provided by their players, which will result in DLC being more difficult.

    Last Light is much more forgiving than the first game, especially in relation to stealth. There is now a clear indication of whether you are visible or not and a brief moment before you are actually spotted by the human enemies paired with a sound cue.

    And they even do the usual "MUST HAVE BEEN A RAT/MY IMAGINATION/WIND" bullshit.

    Yes, but I never said I liked it.

    One can't help but wonder how these people survived 20 years in the world where everything is trying to kill you.

    M2033 guys at the Black station and Outpost were freaking jumpy and that was good.
