Now that patch 6.2 has been out for a few days, what does everyone think of it? I haven't done much pvp so I can't comment on that but I have done several of the bosses in HFC on normal and they seem pretty interesting. Although I almost feel as if they are trying to cram too many abilities into these bosses to make them seem harder. Tanaan Jungle is okay, was expecting a little more. The shipyard is really underwhelming in my opinion, I hate waiting days to complete missions and the rewards are not very good. It is also difficult to put together high percentage mission chances. Let me know what you think!

I haven't explored Taanan too much yet. However from what I have seen a big issue I am coming across that is really ruining the experience is the phasing in Taanan. When elite hunting there you will see people call out that Doom is up and head to that place. Well he's not and it's not just you because there are other people in chat wondering what is going on as well. It really makes it hard to work through.

Overall Taanan seems to model after the Timeless Isles. Which is neither good nor bad. I have done some of the new pet battles and think these are improved over Pandaran content. Pandaren seemed to go out of their way to make the pet battles very hard and complex. Where these are still a bit hard at times they're not overwhelmingly ridiculous to beat.

I agree that the ship yard is very underwhelming. I feel that they built it up and then it just kind of flopped.

I have no opinion of 6.2, but I can say that Blizzard screwed up the game by making it too easy and tried to cater to the whining casual gamers who demanded to get easy access to Epic gear. Once Epic gear was made so readily available, the game went downhill in terms of fun factor and the feeling of achievement made through real effort.

The expansions were great and I think the WoD expansion is the greatest in fun factor, Pandaria being greatest in visual beauty. However, now that everyone was expecting to get awesome end-game gear without much effort, unless you wanted top-tiered Arena or Heroic Raid gear, people pretty much gained super massively high expectations for the game. Reason being, they expect a miracle to happen for a 10 year old game that already readily gives them everything for little effort.

I agree the phasing is a bit ridiculous the way it works right now. I have found that the easiest way to kill rares is just go to their spawn point and look for a group in the premade finder. Has been working really well for me. The pet battles in Tanaan are okay, I already found a 3 pet comp that can beat every legendary pet in Tanaan already though. The shipyard is atrocious in my opinion and the Timewalking dungeons are very lackluster. When I am healing them, I never run oom and even if the tank takes a lot of damage I can just spam my spells. As DPS I just roll over most of the mobs. The gear and the experience is just not worthwhile.

Haven't tried all the PVE stuff yet, but my early thoughts on the patch for PVP are really good. I think they've made some really solid balance changes to comps and I think more teams will be viable in the coming patch. The real test though will be when everyone is in full gear. For pvp, the new season isn't exactly indicative as to what PVP will be 2 months down the road.

So far good start. Going to try some of the PVE things. Looking forward to trying the new raid as well.

I was completely surprised by how short the questing was in the ´new zone´.. Even with smelling the roses I was done in about 30 minutes.. and then it was just a couple of Apex crystal grind quests. Shipyards are very uninspired.. just another really unfun chore to do each day. New raids are nice though, really nice.

If you exclude the Apex daily quests, the story part of the zone shouldn´t take you more than 30 minutes depending on your gear, maybe 45.

The patch is... nice, but really lackluster. Also, as other people have stated, there isn't that much content... Let's hope that Blizzard won't pull this stuff again in Legion.

I do think it is the plan.. faster, smaller expansions and then very litttle content patches in the middle. 6.2 had a raid, but besides that not much else.

It will be interesting to see how much they charge for the new expansion.. They increased the price for this past expansion, so I imagine they aren´t going to to reduce it again.

No thrilled. I was expecting more of a change with regard to the state of PvP, but alas, I shall wait another season. The Horde will rise again (I hope)!

Further, I haven't loved Tanaan or the shipyard. It just feels like content Blizzard added without really adding extra motivation to partake.
