    The title says it all. I've heard rumors that two of the co-workers of THQ, have gone to Greece to get inspired by the terrain, as that is where their game Arma3 will be based off. The Greece authorities have suspected them of being spies and they're currently held captive. Check this thread out for the full info:

    they weren't thq staff, they were arma 3 devs hence why the game has been held up or will be probably cancelled.

    Ah, I see. A friend of mine said that they were members of the THQ crew, and therefor, I believed that THQ are the developers of Arma :p
    After hearing that there'll be a DayZ mod for Arma3, I want Arma3 when it comes out, so I really hope that it does come out.

    Negative. ArmA 3 is being developed by Bohemia Interactive, a czech studio notable for its military simulators.

    The news is nonetheless true.From what i know, they were taking pictures of a "restricted military base/area" and therefore got arrested. At the moment, the project is slowing down, since they had to retrieve important infos about the game's ambience, terrain and so on.

    Bohemia Interactive are trying to collect signs and pleas for their release.

    DayZ won't come to Arma 3 irrc, it's being developed as a standalone game, the Arma engine is buggy as hell and there are other games which have caught onto the DayZ craze and started imitating it (WarZ and Code66)

    The developer of the mod should be rewarded for his efforts and therefore making a stand alone game is the way forward.

    I saw this a while ago, not on tv though, they didnt say anything about it on tv.
