So, as you may or may not know, you can now buy the THQ Humble Bundle. Quick explanation: the Humble Bunlde is a bundle of games that you can buy for any value, and the money goes to charity, the publisher or the site, you can choose the amount...

    Anyway, THQ Bundle includes:

    . Darksiders 1
    . Metro 2033
    . Red Faction Armageddon
    . Company of Heroes
. Company of Heroes Opposing Forces
. Company of Heroes Tales of Valor

And if you pay more than the average, you will also receive Saints Row The Third

And that part about "pay what you want" is true, you can buy all these games for $1

Shit I was going to post about this. Well yea I don't have a computer that can run any other those games (though I think my computer can run company of heros) but im still buying those games since imma be getting a new computer soon.

  3. I'm fairly surprised with the income they got already, and they are bound to get even more since the entire ordeal is going to last twelve more days.

Which means another possible bundle in the future. Which in turn means a lot more games that we will purchase, but never play. Since that's how steam works.

I'd buy these games to support THQ, but unfortunately, none of the games appeals to me.

Alrighty. I have a friend in Steam from the old old days way back in time when I was playing on a rather serious CityRP server in Garry's Mod. This friend of mine is awesome and hilarious. He has made some of my moments on that server so damn awesome, and he talked to me in steam just now and asked if I could buy the humble bundle for him for 1$. I bought it for him for 10$. Now I do not only buy games for a poor and helpless friend, but also buy the one extra game, and I also, and most importantly, donate money to THQ! *So proud*. Deeds of the day! :D

Bought it for 8 dollars, because I didn't want to pay below the average price, nor did I want to seem greedy or spend to many money :)

One of the reasons why I never bought a game from Steam... and I prefer my games boxed. :p

Yeah, though the Humble Bundle is still a great idea and a bargain. I have Metro 2033 (obviously) and Saints Row: The Third from the games in that bundle. Metro - as we all know - is an amazing game, but most of us here already have it. As for SR3: it is a brilliant game for those who want silly, sexual and controversial fun. It really is all-out crazy and I loved it, but it's not much more than that. Worth the full price, so you'll get all of this dirt cheap if you buy it for $10 or less. Heard plenty of good things about Darksiders, Red Faction and Company of Heroes as well, but never played any of them.

Metro is shit brah idk what you're talking about :). But yea Darksiders is great, this Red Faction is fun but if you play any of the older ones you will say this new one is shit. Company of Heros is really fun too.

A dying breed we are, Bamul.

Although I must say that I am willing to support a service like Good Old Games because of their zero-tolerance policy for DRM.

Thanks for sharing that site! :)
Ah, there's some good classics in there. Not really old since I've only played video games for 11 years, but Heroes of Might and Magic really rocked my early school years. not to mention Rollercoaster Tycoon :D

You're welcome. I know what service I'll be buying my games from when I've built my rig.

I am willing to sacrifice the box and disc for GOG (heard of them before and I love what they do - great deals, no DRM etc.), but I'd probably do that only for games which are older and harder to get. I just like having a collection of CD/DVD/Blu-ray boxes on the shelves too much. :(

Yea I like to have something that I can hold but what ever not like we can change things. And I love the DRM free at GOG. They had a deal where you can pick like 5 games for only 10 bucks from a list they had. Each game was normally like 10 bucks too.

Steam = DRM. It can go fuck itself.
