Are you going to go with the Collector's Edition of The Division? Did you manage to reserve a copy before it sold out? According to their site, it is currently sold out on all platforms but they may be making more and will have an announcement in a few weeks. If they do, will you splurge for it? I'm probably not going to get it, even if it becomes available. I love collector's editions, but only when they have statues. I've gotten the collector's edition for AC3, AC4: Black Flag, AC: Unity and Watch_Dogs. I also have the collector's edition for Batman: Arkham Origins and Batman: Arkham Knight. All of them came with beautifully crafted statues that I have displayed in my living room. The items included in this edition don't really interest me as much, and I don't think I'd wear that watch on a day-to-day basis. The rest of the stuff (art book, poster) are cool, but not worth the extra cash.
It looks pretty cool (that watch though, really digging it) but I wasn't able to catch it. Still, I don't think I would've bought it - I'm not too much into this game yet, I'm waiting to see more before purchasing it.
Do we know a price? Because it's actually decent if this is the only Collector's Edition, whereas with Watch Dogs there were like a hundred and it was a mess. I might consider this one. Also, is there a PC version for this Collector's Edition?
It's retailing for $199.99 Canadian [source] and there is a PC Edition of the Collector's Edition. $200 seems a bit high for me, especially since there's no statue or anything but some people seem to like the watch. There's a poster, an art book (you know the standard fare) and it t also guarantees you'll be in the beta.
So it's like.. $150 USD or something like that? Honestly, that seems kind of reasonable although it is a pretty stiff price. You pay for some "premium" equipment though, and pre-order the game so I guess you take that into consideration.
150 is too much for me. I'd never pay that much for a Collector's edition. I was hoping for like $ 100. I guess I'll just buy the game and maybe the season pass eventually if it's worth it.
While I really would like the collectors edition, even if it was available I still wouldn't be able to grab it. Can't justify 150 in the budget BUT, the collection looks incredible, the watch and the art book look really nice, as does the loot box it comes in! I think that it's cool, but overly ambitious. Maybe something like the CoD series does, where they have normal level, veteran level, then hardened tiered packs for people with different budgets. A hard cover for the game would be incredible
That watch looks absolutely amazing, I would love to get it for myself. The asking price for this is too high for me though. So, I guess I'll have to miss out on that sweet watch.
I've been fairly lucky with picking up collector's editions at a discount a few months after they've been released, so maybe you'll get a chance with this one!
This looks super awesome. I don't know if I'd be willing to dish out the money towards it, but if I was super into the game it might be something I'd look into. I also couldn't see myself wearing that watch, as cool as it is.

Well, I would be if I planned to buy it full price. I'll just have to hope for the best and cross my fingers that I'll find it cheaply.
If you wait a couple days, people who don't like it will already by selling the game for cheaper than normal cost
Eh, it's cool and I'd love to get it, but probably not. Isn't it like over 150 US dollars or something? That's way over my price range. I can't and won't spend over 100 dollars for any game.
I love when companies do things like this. They put out so many cool things. The Fallout developers did the same thing and there's a ton of neat stuff I want to get it all.
But with Fallout is fine because it's a long running series. The Division is a completely new IP so you're paying for something you don't even know if it's good. Usually people buy collector's edition because they're fan of the material, but it's just weird to me when Ubisoft does these limited editions of completely new games.
People love limited editions though. I know some acquaintances of mine that drop a lot of cash on any Collector's Edition of a game they plan to get. Ubisoft knows that there's a market for collector items even if the ip is completely new.
Eh, too expensive for me, but that watch looks amazing! I mean, amazing as in a cool way, but it's too bulky for me to ever wear on a daily basis. Also, that's the only thing that catches my eye in that bundle, so I think I'll pass and maybe wait for some people to post that watch on eBay.
