Too many things in Minecraft?

    Do you think there are too many things being added into Minecraft? If so, do you think they should cut down on the amount of things there are, or are they actually improving gameplay for people in both survival, creative and multi-player modes in Minecraft?

    I think they need to add more stuff actually. Everyone has a creative mind, so more things is better

    It would be nice if some things, like saddles and horse armour, were able to be hand made, even if extremely resource intensive. I like to build castles and I want to have it so that there are horses with saddles and armour on in a big horse stable but I can't because the game doesn't like that.

    Also it would be nice if slimeballs weren't so freaking hard to come by. And if you could make string out of wool blocks.

    Ultimately more blocks are usually a good thing, I just wish they would add more varieties of those blocks. I can't tell you how badly I want half slabs/stairs of most blocks...like logs, wool, especially hardened clay blocks.

    Everything Minecraft has added are optional items that players can use to add to their creative builds. If players don't like particular blocks, then don't use them. For example, people can ride pigs and control them with a carrot on a stick. Personally, I have only used that once and find it pretty lame, but I am glad they added that for people who like that. So no I don't think Minecraft has too many things.

    Minecraft really doesn't contain that much when you think about it. The game could implement tons more items and features without seeming too bloated or anything like that.

    No, in this type of games (sandbox) the more things the better, because projects can be way more creative and there's more room for different things. I think minecraft is doing great by adding all this new content.

    I think it's fine the way it is. I preferred the simplicity, but reverting back would be even worse than staying where it is now.

    Mojang NEED to keep adding new stuff into minecraft like biomes and blocks, etc... imagine if Minecraft got like 1 massive update a year, it would not be as big as it was now

    I think minecraft is one of those things where it's pretty hard to have too much stuff. It can really only add variety and give you more building blocks.


    I personally think they need to add a LOT more mobs to the game, I think it would be pretty neat to see zebras and lions in the Savannah biome.

    What have they added lately? I can;t think of anything major. I wouldn't be playing this game if it wasn't for amazing mods.
