Truth time. What are the things you HATE about League of Legends?

The playerbase, there are far too many people that rage over a simple game or are simply unpleasant. I use "/mute all" in every ranked game I play, which is not normal, right?

 

I think the learning curve is much too steep which means that it's hard to play at the same level as your friends. There's too much information to absorb from the start, builds, items, and even just the roles you take in the game. Then which heroes can fill those roles well. And the people in the matchmaking system are all experts who will deride every little mistake you make.

Once you get past all that, it's fun and competitive. But a couple of my friends gave up early on because it was too much to learn and they hated the community.

 

The only thing I hate about League of Legends is dynamic queue because at higher elos it is really easy to abuse this. The reason this mode is broken is because of communication and overall synergy. A lot of times you will get people queuing up with a bunch of random players they played with recently and they will not get in voice with them. This puts their premade and the solo players on their team at a huge disadvantage because the enemy team will have a premade of equal size and there is a good chance they will be in voice. I wish Riot would release solo queue like they promised 6-12 months ago.

 

There is nothing not to like about the game design of LOL. It is done well. I think HoTS has pointed out a few little things that could be done differently (maybe better).. but overall LOL is king because it is so tight.

The only had thing are other players. It is just impossible to get people to behave like human beings in an anonymous, competitive environment that lasts less than an hour before you never see those random people again. You put Anonymous, Competitive, new random people frequently... into any game and you are going to sink into the cesspool fast.

 

Not really much I dislike but I'm just a casual player so I don't think my opinion matters as much in this case. I guess matchmaking would be something I would like to see improved on.

 

I hate the community. I hate how repetitive it got, and how bad the community got after it started to get repetitive. Most of all, I hate that I spent more time on it than I should have, cuz that one's my fault.

 

What I hate about LoL and most MMORPGs really are the low tolerance they have against trolles and AFKers, imagine-- you lose a game just because one team member left in the middle of a fight. It's not fair play I wish there was a way other players can step in and take their role.

 

I totally love the game, but as far as hate is concerned, I really hate some of the players. Most players I come across in a game would literally quit when they die twice in a few minutes of the game. Others are just way too toxic to play with.
