Okay guys these are two digital drawings I did in my spare time.
All inspired by Metro 2033 universe.

If anyone is interested in the Stalker logo on the shoulder of the prone man in "Underground" here it is:

You should change the [dot] with "." because I don't have enough posts to post urls.

Nice work! I've tried a Metro piece before, but the tunnels are really a challenge. Epic work, man.

    Thank you very much! :)

Well they are all painted in Photoshop. Digital ART is awesome.
    I used a Intuos4 M for "underground" and "Metro". Now I am using a Cintiq24HD.
There are other software you can use (all are generally really expensive) such as Corel Painter, Autodesk Sketchbook, Zbrush and others.
Just google digital painting if you are interested.

Yeah, it's a real pain how expensive they are. There are the not-so-legal ones you can use, but one good way to get access to Photoshop legally is to join some computer course. Or buy a second hand copy of a program from an auction site somewhere that you can trust (maybe Ebay or something). Like I said, you don't need the latest one, the quality is the same.

I'm using a wacom tablet, though Intuos has been recommended to me for it's higher sensitivity.

Well there Intuos is good but the best is the Cintiq. They are very expensive though.
The sensibility thing is true, they let you work with pression.

As for the software there are a bunch of alternatives both cheap or free.
Autodesk Sketchbook Pro, Autodesk Sketchbook Express, Gimp (Free).

    @Boris13
Photoshop is real good and the expense is "justify" by the fact that you can do almost everything 2D related (photomanipulation, drawing, design, logos). Good alternative is Microsoft Expression.
I own the original software because I bought a Student Licence (still expensive).

I can see where you're coming from, for sure. Shade has listed a few good alternatives, but photoshop is the standard one they use in the industry...

Student Licence is great, but yeah, still pricey. Try Amazon and stuff, http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Photosh..._1_1?s=software&ie=UTF8&qid=1334539651&sr=1-1

But yeah, Adobe likes ripping people off, whereas Autodesk (Maya 3D) gives free licenses to students!

Well If I were you I'd buy the Standard Design suite (contains also illustration which is very helpful).

Also I have made a gif animation showing the steps taken to create "Underground": nicolamontefuscoartof.wordpress.com/2012/04/30/underground-making-of/
