Do you think she was a good asset to have in the game? Or do you think she could've been made better. I love her loyalty and though she comes with some pretty good pros like her strength, she doesn't add much to the emotional aspect of the game.
I don't usually use her especially playing on legendary mode Lydia is way more useful Uthgerd might be able to do more damage, but what I need is someone to do the tanking for me and if Lydia ever dies my next choice would probably be someone from the companions!
Lydia is better (though she still annoys the hell out of me -.-). Uthgerd is better dps but Lydia always tanks the best!
Actually I think Uthgerd would be better if your playing on the lower levels, but it changes on expert and up I think or at least until you get to a good level then I don't need Lydia anymore just need someone to carry your extra stuff in dungeons and what not.
I rarely used her.. or any other companion for that matter. Whenever I use them they always seem so fragile and die so easy... Unless I use the Companion mod thing that makes them essential but I never use them otherwise.
That's strange I tried Jenessa she was OK when playing on legendary she just couldn't handle bosses, but Lydia on the other hand was a wall I don't know what her stats are at low levels, but she is defiantly useful.
She was a little bit too goody goody for my play style, I tend to pick pockets and burglarize just for the heck of it.
Nope, never gone on a journey with her because I felt that she was too weak. I always go with Lydia because I think she's more balanced and a better all rounder. Uthgerd seems like she dies way too easily.
I don't use her. I play solo most of the time anyway because I have had too many followers dying on me while acting as my storage mule.
I don`t really use companions in my gameplays, most of the time they are useless, get in your way, or alert enemies to your presence. I think this is one of the gripes I have with Skyrim, that the companions are not really well implemented, unless you play with a companion enhancement mod.
I have only used her once out of the entire time I have been playing Skyrim. There are just a lot more appealing companions to choose from I often overlooked her.
I used her for the first 30 levels or so before she died because of a rotating blade trap in a Dwemer Ruin . I thought she was a pretty good companion who could hold her own against enemies without me having to constantly heal. Good at tanking enemy hits for me too and just an all-round good companion in my opinion. By the way did you know if your companion dies they get a coffin in the Hall of the Dead in Whiterun and you can take the stuff you left in their inventory when they died? Just thought I'd let you guys know because I was pretty surprised when I discovered this myself.
