    Yeah, so just to let you know, I'll be gone for one week. I'll be bathing in warm tropical waters and tanning on the beach while my schoolmates will be at school with cold and slushy snow. Agh, the pleasure. Will be there with one of my best buds and his friend again, so we'll be taking some trips a bar or two down there ;)
    It's Gran Canaria, by the way. Puerto Rico, southern part of the island. There might be internet on the hotel, but I doubt I'll be going any on the forum at all. So, see ya all in one week! :D

    Awesome. Have fun, man! :) I've never been to a tropical place on holiday... never could afford one. But it must be pretty cool - maybe someday. :p

    See here's the problem, you northern hemisphere types think tropical whether is "kool" NO! i have thought many times of rowing south to Antartica many times when it goes over 30*C here

    Back in Poland, it is common for it to be over 30°C during summer. Sometimes (though not often) it gets over 40°C. :p

    The hottest it gets at summer, as far as I've experienced, is 34*C, but it's usually somewhere around 25*C.

    You now shrimp, decapod crustaceans? The little creatures that lives in the ocean? I figured there would be a lot of shrimp to eat over there since it's an island/islands. Never mind, I'm starting to sound too much like Bubba from Forest Gump. :)

    I was just guessing Shrimp ment something entirely else in this context.
    But if not then yes, I ate a lot of shrimps at cheap buffès. The ones baked&fried are esecially good c:

    :D I guess I shouldn't have put quotations around the O. My original intent was to put some emphasis on the O, but now that I go back and look ove my question, it come across looking more like a surprised expression "O"; hence, you getting the wrong idea. :laugh:
