What is your favorite way of the playing the game? Vanilla (non modded), or with mods? I personally think vanilla is really boring and worn out. I've been playing it way back in beta, and everything I did is a new adventure. However now, I've done everything a ton of times, and it just doesn't have that novelty anymore. That's why I switched to modding. It really brings out that mystery and adventure we all know and love.

I play with a few mods, but those mods are all mods that improve the vanilla experience. One of the mods I have shows the chunk borders, one of them is a minimap, I have not enough items, so nothing that modifies gameplay too much

Modded with Tekkit is my personal preference. It's got pretty much every mod I want for the game in one convenient package..

Vanilla is too repetitive and that makes it boring, mods make the game more different in many ways.

Mods obviously. I don't play with a lot of mods but I do have some installed. Playing the vanilla version is going to get boring quick because it's the same thing everytime. Having different mods will bring fresh things to the game.

I like playing on vanilla but sometimes I like to spice it up with a few mods, really adds on to the gaming experience.

I like how unmodded Minecraft is referred to as Vanilla. Anyways, vanilla is pretty boring, that's why mods are made in the first place because unmodded Minecraft is just plain too boring to play. I would pretty much choose the one with mods anytime of the day.

If you play Minecraft and you're not planning to use mods then you're going to end up yawning for the next 3 hours. Don't get me wrong the vanilla Minecraft is still pretty awesome but once you get the game mechanics down it starts to get boring and eventually you'll seek the loving and entertaining aid of the mods.

I dabble in mods, but I actually prefer vanilla Minecraft more than anything else. I feel like the game is incredibly solid on its own. While some mods improve the experience, I can honestly say the game holds its own well enough for me to like playing the base game.

I prefer modded because you can always just play it like vanilla, but you always have something to do if you get bored with the stock objectives and worlds.

I play vanilla. I used to play Feed The Beast, but stopped when I had to go back to school. I've recently started playing minecraft again, but I don't want to get addicted to it again, so I only play vanilla. It gets boring real fast, so I don't spend too much time playing it. :)

I go back and forth. I like all the mods that are in Attack of the B-team, and sometimes I'll play that, but that's about as far as I get into mods, and with that modpack, it's a lot more fun if you can play with friends.

Mostly Vanilla for me, if mods weren't such a hassle to get working I'd use those though.

I like to do a bit of both. Vanilla is great for quite a long time; however, there are quite a copious amount of good mods out there that help expand the playtime. Especially on servers and with friends, mods are key to maintaining a healthy interest in the game. Going overboard on mods can potentially be dangerous though.

I don't really like mods that much but to be honest a plain MC game is rather boring so every now and then I pop in a mod just to spice things up and add some chocolate coating and sprinkles on my vanilla.

At the start I used to play only vanilla. It does get old with time... mods add so much to the game. I think anyone who didn't try any mods at all should give them a try, its definetly worth it.

I don't like modding my Minecraft at all. I rather keep the vanilla style of gameplay with no mods whatsoever. The reason why I prefer vanilla is because i'm not the person to play it every single day but a person who plays it once in awhile. It still has that refreshing feel to it rather than the stale and boring feel.

I prefer modded. Vanilla is boring. When I played Minecraft without any mods, it's fun at first but after I played it for hours, I got bored. And also, I have at least 60 or 70 mods installed on my minecraft.

Oh yes definitely mods. I really like playing with a completely custom setup, be it the texture packs and shaders or just game enhancing stuff, if Im intrigued I will try it. Vanilla minecraft is not bad but you can enhance it drastically, the same goes for Elder Scrolls Skyrim and you all know what I mean here ;-).
