Veni Vidi Vici from Portugal is recruiting - Portuguese only guild

Veni Vidi Vici is a Portuguese multigaming community that has its roots in Guild Wars for about 6 years now. As we approach the launch of Guild Wars 2, and since its beta test phase is already underway, Veni Vidi Vici - VvV announces that we are opening recruitment for our Guild Wars 2 Division.

Candidates profile

Although we intend to be one of the largest Guild Wars 2 guilds in Portugal, we will not recruit all candidates. We will not try to achieve this objective simply by the quantity of members, accepting all those who wish to enter. We will be selective in recruiting because we want to prioritize the quality of our members and to have a good ambience within the guild.

What we are looking for in candidates:
-Nationality: We will only accept Portuguese candidates because we are an exclusively Portuguese guild.
-Maturity: To ensure this requirement, we require a minimum age of 16 years. However, since age isn’t always synonymous with maturity, we are willing to accept candidates with less than 16 years as long as they show a mature behavior.
-Good relationship: We highly value good relationships between all members of the guild, so all candidates who are anti-social, obnoxious, insulting, conflicting, convinced, etc. will not be accepted.
-Participation: Candidates must be active and willing to participate in the guild’s activities.
-Team spirit: It is intended that candidates emphasize not only on their personal goals in the game but can also contribute to the objectives of the guild and contribute to a spirit of mutual help among all its members.

Applicants will first be accepted for a probationary period in which we will evaluate if their profile fits what we want for our members.

Among the candidates who are accepted, we will select those who demonstrate leadership qualities, motivation, commitment, maturity and initiative to occupy leadership positions (officers) within the structure of the guild.

Our main goals in the game will be to explore all aspects of the game, whether it’s PvE or PvP, as has happened in Guild Wars. We will seek to involve all members in various activities and events as a way to strengthen ties and good relations among all members. Above all, we want to build a solid and stable guild, which will be achieved by maintaining a high level of satisfaction among our members.

After we analyze the application, you will receive a reply to your post on the forum. An important part of the analysis and evaluation of the application will be conversations that we will have with the candidates on our VOIP software, Mumble. The best way to understand what are the characteristics and objectives of each candidate is by speaking directly to them. Show willingness to participate, become involved in the community, it only will play in your favor! If you are accepted, you will receive the instructions you will need to follow to integrate into the community.


Who are Veni Vidi Vici

Veni Vidi Vici formed in late 2005 as a Portuguese Guild Wars guild, a game in which we kept a constant presence ever since. Over the years, we actively explored various aspects of the game, either PvE or competitive PvP. We have always tried to have a posture that allowed us to have a good relationship with the Portuguese Guild Wars community in general, and to avoid behaviors that lead to misunderstandings between guilds.

Meanwhile, we have expanded our interests beyond Guild Wars, having played other MMO's (Pirates of the Burning Sea, Age of Conan, World of Warcraft, Star Trek Online, World of Tanks, Rift, Eve, etc). Given the diverse interests of our members, we have grown far beyond the concept of a guild focused in only one game. Currently, we are a multigaming community, playing any game that allows multiplayer and that our members have interest playing. Our mission is to congregate in the same community gamers who are interested in playing together, making it easier to find partners to play a certain game.

In terms of internal organization, we are divided into several divisions. Currently, we have divisions for Guild Wars, League of Legends, Minecraft, Multigaming and Retrogaming. Each of these divisions organizes daily events. Participation in some of these events gives access to prizes (we offer games) throughout the year.

In Veni Vidi Vici, we firmly believe in the values of democracy, so we are keen to get together every month in Senate to discuss issues concerning the community. Meetings follow strict rules and allow each member to express his opinion. Decisions regarding the objectives to be pursued by the community rest with its members.

Because we want to excel at having a good ambience within our community and in relations with the Portuguese and international community in general, we do not tolerate that our members disrespect the rules of conduct towards other players or members of other clans. Each player who uses our tag is a representative of the community and a bad attitude is intolerable. We are demanding but not arrogant. The games are supposed to provide fun and not to stress us.
