Villager quests

I think it would be possible! Great idea by the way, it would be very fun!
I imagine them sending you to hunt down 10-20 zombies and give you some emeralds for that! Or maybe if you gather the blocks they want they would give you another item in exchange for them!
It would be pretty cool if they added quests! And also maybe new types of villages, maybe more rpg-ish.

 

I reckon it is possible and is a great idea! This would add something fresh and new to the game and some objectives to the game. I would love that and it would add a better RPG feel to it. Maybe the quests could be hunting monsters, gathering items or maybe building things! This would definitely be a welcome addition as those who like it can play it, and those who don't can just ignore it.

Ѕоmеhоw thеу'd hаvе tо іmрlеmеnt rudіmеntаrу quеst еdіtіng thоugh... unlеss іt wаs аs sіmрlе аs "І nееd thіs іtеm" -> рut іtеm іn сhеst.

 

That would be a super cool thing for them to add. Maybe that will be a feature that Microsoft will add whenever they make their changes to the game. I hate the way they trade so a quest option would be super cool. Does anyone even use the villagers to get stuff like that? The prices for their stuff is always outrageous.

Yeah they really are a bit useless as of yet, I mean I am shocked they actually gave them the ability to harvest their own crops and grow new ones. I mean this is a huge breakthrough for the Villagers, I think they really need to add quests, that would be awesome.

 

More village interaction could always be a good thing yes, as it is they're just kind of there and sell stuff.

 

Quests would be very welcomed. Something like this would add yet another dimension to the game. It would also give villagers a purpose, maybe even a reason to go hunt down villagers because the quests could be really cool or something. A mixture of easy and hard quests for varying valued items.

 

Yeah, these would be awesome. Villagers already don't do much for us. Quests would actually make them more useful other than really bad deals and the odd good deal.

 

That would be AWESOME! That said it's much of a quest right now because they wont breed if you don't trade with them....so I guess you could say they actually do send you on quests ha ha.

That would be great! One thing I don't like about the game is that it doesn't really have any sort of direction, it's a little too free for my liking, I think villager quests are exactly what the game needs. Or at least making the villagers are little more socially interactive, it gets lonely out there, mining all by yourself.

 

Now that I think of it, they really should add a whole heap more interactions with the villages, like being able to sell livestock and horses to the villagers, or trading manual labour for goods. The villagers haven't been utilised to their full potential yet.

 

Why don't you guys start thinking of the villager trades like quests? Other than the shitty rewards ha ha.

 

This would really add something new to the game.
