The first pack releases sometime this month (Faction Pack). It'll focus on new and original single-player gameplay and stories that expand upon the Metro: Last Light universe. You can get the other season pass details with the url below.

I really hope they make a movie or at least some mini series.

also question.. is METRO 2034 related or not to METRO LAST LIGHT?
I read in some places else that they have nothing similar.
was METRO LAST LIGHT a complete original story?

2034 is a totally separate story, about Hunter and a few other characters having their own little adventures. Dmitry Glukhovsky still wrote the story for Last Light, but with the intention of it being used in a game. I'm pretty sure he plans to write another book for Last Light.

Metro LL is based on 2035.

As for movies there was one being made iirc. There is probably a thread on it here somewhere.

The problem is, all the news I've read about the movie was.. on how MGM bought only the exclusivity or the 2033 movie.
and ordered some guys to write the whole thing, but noone else says its underproduction.
And considering how MGM has reported heavy loses and doesnt want to take any risk that could damage their finances.. I see the chance of them doing Metro 2033 movie.. rather slim..

Still, Id love to see del Toro in the helm. with Doug Jones doing a Dark One impression.

Actually, Metro 2035 will be based on Last Light. :p Last Light was inspired by Metro 2034 and novels from the Universe of Metro 2033 series, but not based on any of those since the plot itself and the characters are fundamentally different. Some of the game's sections though are ripped straight from the books; for example: Venice is almost a carbon copy of a flooded station that makes an appearance in Piter, in the Sankt Peterburg metro.

This topic makes me think back to Bioshock 2 and their following expansion : " Minerva's Den " which was a very well written sideline story which deeply enriched the games background storyline.

While LL is based on on written literature, I'd dearly love to see the same concept considered as far as any future forthcoming DLC expansion(s) for LL. There's so many feasible side-line options to explore while staying true to the core of it all..
