U think itd be cool if u can buy weapon scopes silencer and stuff instead of having to buy a whole new weapon with that attached to it?

Yes! I had moments when I wanted to take the sight off the kalash (especially at close-range), and maybe have the option to switch between laser/scope sights. It would be nice if the silencers could be unscrewed for more fierce firefights (since they lower the gun's power), and then screw them on for "ninja" missions.

So yes, definitely a great idea! And it wouldn't be a major hassle for the designers. Nice one, Boris13! ;)

Yeah, I was low on ammo and decided to switch the AK with an AK with scope at a market and wasted a whole lotta bullets on it for nothing; I threw it away afterwards. The scope doesn't zoom any specially more than when you regularly aim, besides, the scope is dirty and quite dark and annoying as hell when you're at close range. So being able to change equippments on the guns would be an awesome idea.

Yeah, the dirty scope was a real pain, and when used with night vision it's practically useless. It's unfortunate, because I like scopes. :)

Frankly I´d like to have options, that are actually useful, not options just for the sake of options.

Get rid of the stupid ass RDS, etc.
The iron sights on some of the guns already have that crazy glow in the dark stuff (no idea what it's called) so there's no need for all this fancy crap.
I'd prefer some home made silencers, etc. I don't think we should have the ability to add or remove attachments once you have purchased a gun though, I loved how you had to find alternative ways of dealing with enemies when your awesome weapon you just bought isn't appropriate and isn't so awesome after all.

We already have different armour systems, I love the idea but they need to make them more effective, as in give them some real positives or negatives to using it.
In Metro 2033 the stealth suit was terrible, it made no difference whatsoever other than maybe a little harder to detect when in front of an enemy. Heavy armour is useless unless you get it at Armory station for the frontlines level since humans are the only enemies that deal any real damage and even then you can sneak past them without it anyway. Don't say "What about Librarians and Demons" Demons do fuck all other than fly about and occasionally hit you if you decide to do something stupid like, I dunno, stand still for about two days out in the open and Librarians are easy as hell to avoid being hit by.
Default armour was the only useful armour.

The glow in the dark paint on the iron sights is either radium (depending on the year the gun was manufactured, 1960ish and before; this is also what was used on my watch and I believe that Artyom’s watch contains this as well, allowing it to glow 24/7) or tritium. The way it works is that a very small amount of these radioactive elements is mixed in with zinc sulfate paint. Once these two are combined, the alpha particles start to bombard the zinc sulfate, creating miniature sparks that are unable to be seen from the naked eye when examined individually. What we can see is the thousands of sparks being created all together, creating the visible glow. This glow will eventually fade out due to the constant eating of the paint caused by the radiation or if the life of the radioactive element depletes before the paint is eaten up. For tritium, the case of its radioactivity dying out before the paint is gone happens because it’s short-lived half-life of 12 years, or a total of 24 years. For radium, its half-life well over exceeds the paints life. Radium’s half-life is 1600 years making its total life of 3200 years. The number of years the watch may glow depends on how much zinc sulfate was mixed in with the radium ( 30 to 60 years, max). If you are wondering which is more radioactive, its Radium. Sorry if I may have worded this a little difficult to understand.

This is my watch that I bought a few months ago. I haven't gotton any weird growths on my wrist from the radiation, so I guess it's safe to wear.:D

I think that this was already implemented. It does take some time to make something like this. (Animation and code) Remember Metro 2033 is considered a low budget game so they most likely shaved that off as a way to keep costs low. Now that the game was pushed on THQ's main game list they most likely implemented it.

Seem bit like such a waste to trade in an attachment for another forcing you to buy it once more. Would be more fun and more economic to be able to save attachments, possible even changing them in the battlefield after ones needs.
