We've already had great news from the developers informing us about the inclusion of werewolves and vampires in ESO after launch. Seems the same disease mechanic from the single-player games will be employed, bringing about the transformations by bites or spells. It's really very exciting because it adds an additional realm of gameplay with more superpowers at your disposal at a cost.

It would also be very interesting to see this played out in an MMORPG -- does this mean that you get to infect other players as well? If it comes to this, which side would you probably pick?

EDIT: Sorry, I pressed 'Enter' and my first title got erased. Is there any way to edit the title for this thread? It's supposed to be "Werewolves and Vampires in ESO"

Maybe just delete the thread and create it again?
I kind of like being a werewolf in Skyrim though after a while it kind of just seemed like a bit of a gimic. As for being a vampire in Oblivion. I was terrified of being infected after I found out what you had to do to get cured. I would steer clear of both in TESO.

If I had to choose I'd rather be a vampire. Though I really wouldn't want be either permanently but it would be fun to try them both out. I'm okay with my current character choice, Redguard but I've been thinking of starting over using Dunmer.

Don't worry about the title, it's very attention grabbing like this :)
I rather be a vampire but it depends because the disadvantages might be too steep.

I hope it's not the same as like it was in Skyrim werewolves where completely overpowered their has to be more of a balance.

To be honest, I'm never a fan of vampires and werewolves. Each time I got infected in Skyrim, I'd go to a nearest shrine to heal and it was a major hassle. I was hoping that vampires and werewolves will be classes we can choose instead so I don't have to turn into one unwillingly.

Vampire personally because i'd roleplay as a really old vampire from the days long since past and speak about times long ago and be all Noble and Royal acting and such!

Even better, getting infected could be a big long complex quest, that way it would be optional, it would limit the number of vampires/werewolves and it would reward only those that went through the lengthy quest.

Having them as classes to choose from would be a really good idea to implement. That or just not having the huge hassle of curing yourself. Either way, people like them so they'll be kept in the game, I just hope all the fuss with being cured isn't there.

Werewolf was just better. Running around enraged chucking people was just pure fun. Vampires were really lacking and didn't really fulfill my expectations. I was disappointed.
