West server stronger than the East one?

How can tell? Everyone has their own individual skill. I don't understand the whole one server being better than the other. If you have a few extremely good players in one part of the spectrum, it forces others to get better. So if Faker played in NA, a few people would get way better at least.

Еvеrything еlsе is thе sаmе. Аnd I dоn't think bеing mаtсhеd аgаinst diаmоnds in nоrmаls mеаns аnything, sinсе nоrmаls hаvе а diffеrеnt mаtсhmаking. It's bаffling hоw pеоplе still dоn't knоw thаt whеn wе аrе оnе stеp bеfоrе оur 4th sеаsоn whеrе rаnkеd mаtсhmаking gоt intrоduсеd.

Gеtting mаtсhеd with а diаmоnd in nоrmаls dоеsn't mеаn thаt yоu аrе еquаlly skillеd tо thеm. It mеаns thаt ЕUNЕ hаd sо fеw pеоplе аvаilаblе fоr а gаmе аt thаt mоmеnt thаt thе mаtсhmаking hаd tо pаir yоu with thеm. I trаnsfеrеd frоm ЕUNЕ аnd I hаvе hugе nоrmаls MMR, I knоw. Оnе gаmе yоu gеt а full diаmоnds tеаm, right nеxt оnе yоu gеt silvеrs аnd gоlds. Thеrе аrе tоо fеw pеоplе quеuing up аnd mаtсhmаking gоеs nuts.

Thе оnly rеаl diffеrеnсе must bе thе аmоunt оf lеаvеrs, but nоt intеntiоnаlly, sinсе ЕUW is соmpоsеd оf соuntriеs with muсh mоrе stаblе соnnесtiоns. (аnd mоst nоrdiс plаyеrs plаy in ЕUW in rеаlity, sinсе thеy fееl mоrе ассustоmеd tо spеаking еnglish оthеr thаn bеing pаirеd with thе bаlсаn соuntriеs.)

 

i didn't even know this was a thing. How can you tell which one is stronger? It seems like the levels would be based on the individual characters.

 

Yeah the top of the ladder on West is way way stronger due to a higher population and a different competitive gaming culture in that part of Europe, however this should not affect low ELO so just ignore your friends if they are talking trash about the level at which you are playing.

 

I think when it comes to the highest ranks you'll probably mostly find just a bit of difference and not necessarily higher skill or lower skill but in the middle to lower tiers then I guess there can be a bit of a difference that would be difficult to ignore since people from different countries tend to treat certain games differently. Some might be a little more or less serious about it than others.

 

I doubt this is real. I also heard such things, but I never trusted that. You know? Only a bronze-level would actually say that in West, bronze = gold V in East. That's just his consolation for the fact that he'll never leave bronze at all. So keep calm and play, because nothing is real.

 

Eh, this is typical East Coast vs West Coast, Korea vs China, EU vs NA trashtalk. There will be good and bad players from all geographical regions in the world. Any difference is minute given the large amounts of players across servers.

 

It's definitely not true. Yes, there are more players in EUW than EUNE, and competitive scene is on EUW, but there isn't much difference regarding skills.

 

EUW is definitely more skilled than EUNE, but you're only going to feel the difference in D1/Master/Challenger. Anything below D1 is the same on every server.

 

I personally think that East server is way stronger than West server because I personally have less lag in the east server because of my current ubication, however it all depends on where you're located at.
