What are some good minecraft seeds?

    I am constantly trying out new minecraft seeds and it seems I can never find a TRULY good one. If one I find has one thing I need, then it is lacking another. What are some of your favorite seeds? What types of resources do they hold?

    I generally dont use seeds as i like the random aspect of the game but i have seen quite a few good seeds on youtube. want me to send a few?

    I think this is personally my favorite seed. You spawn in a jungle island with a complete temple. There is also an additional portal room at the bottom of the ocean floor.

    I like using the random generator because I like not knowing what to expect from the world I am about to dive into.

    Same, Seeds just make the game boring because you know what you're expecting and you know that the map will be what you want. I think it's just better to play without having a clue about what you're going into

    Random generator is great. Usually I just press new game and go for it. Sadly, I'm only getting lame maps where I start inside of a jungle surrounded by canyons (with the red sand and orange clay). I've literally have to travel 15 minutes to find other biome's like flatlands mountains or snow.

    To be honest, I don't really like seeds. I like to let Minecraft generate it's own unique world, which can sometimes turn out to be pretty cool.

    I really have no idea what these seeds do. I've been playing Minecraft for a long time and I have no idea how these seeds work LOL

    They are basically a code which makes the world look a certain way. For example, if you type in the seed "100" the world will always look the same no matter how many times you use that same seed.

    People like seeds because you can get maps that have certain stuff life only 1 tree which makes everything harder

    Same! I saw the thing "Seed Generator" and I have always wondered what it does, well after coming here I can say that it generates pre-made maps that players have made I guess, or Mojang made them. Not really sure, but I agree with most people, I like to spawn at random that way you never know where you will be dropped in at and survival is up to you.

    Depends what you are looking for really. If you are looking for dungeon and caves for resources or to fight more monsters.. If you are looking for a mountain region for a house inside the mountains or maybe for more coal on the side of mountains.If you are looking for a water area for possible squids, or sources of water for farming maybe. You might be interested in forests or grassland type areas for sources of trees and possible flat lands for house building.

    You just don't need to get seeds. Just get pork meat. It's much better. Not, seriously, I can't help you so much with this, I've never take any interest about them, I'm just a newbie with seeds but I'm sure you can get some tips about it typing on google.

    My favorite seed is SKYRIM. On the Xbox edition, it spawn a wonderful snowy wilderness. It is fun to build log cabins in this seed.
