What do you do with villages?

I like to transform villages into houses. That is a cool and inspiring way to go about it. You can do awesome houses that way.

 

I usually just check around the village for chests, loot everything I can, take the bookcases and take all the farming crops and foods. They're pretty useful when I'm just starting a new survival world.

 

I look around for chests also I try to make deals if there are any decent ones. I also take all their crops and sometimes even set all the houses on fire as a joke. It's funny when they are run around on fire!

 

I loot them and then move on, I prefer to build my own villages. Sometimes though, if I find one I especially like, I might fix it up. If I have worldedit then they will have a perfectly fixed village. I found one that was sort of in a mountain once and liked it so much I fixed it. It was horribly generated, some buildings were 5 blocks above or under ground and many houses were actually completely buried! It looked awesome when I was done with it. Cannot remember where it is now though ha ha.

 

I like looting them, maybe spending some time with the villagers. I have used villages as a starting place for some of my societies, but most of the time I just set them all on fire.

Why the hell would you destroy them for the sake of it? What the hell is the point of that?

 

I loot them and steal the things since I need or want for my house like bookcases. I also steal the crops and the things in their chests.
