What do you guys do in the Nether?

    I don't think I really am grasping all that there is to do in the Nether. So far, of all that I know, it's great to go there to obtain quartz and other materials that cannot be found elsewhere. I have also heard of the ender dragon, but I have never discovered it. What do you guys usually do when you get to the Nether? Or, are you a person who ignored the realm, and has no care for it? If so, why?

    I usually like to explore the castle ruins. I don't really use much of the materials I get from there. If you search long enough you'll find some amazing items in the chests located there.

    Personally I mainly use the nether as an "underground" railroad to make travelling in the overworld a lot quicker.

    I use the Nether to get quick and easy XP you can kill those zombie pig thing quite quickly and get lots of XP

    I go to the nether very rarely but when I do I just mine for materials and come right back to the regular world. I don't want to spend more time in the nether than I have to.

    Not really, I have portals set up between the bases, that way I can take minecarts in the nether and its so much quicker than taking them in the overworld

    I'm a big fan of using the nether to get lava, but that's about it.

    Usually when I play, the nether is too dangerous and just not worth it for the materials.

    Mmmmm, dem sweet nether materials. I like unlimited fire, so I go there for netherrack. I like blocks that are lit up, so I go there for glowstone. I like porkchop, so I go there to hunt zombie pigmen!

    But, isn't it also pretty dangerous as there is a lot of risk involved?

    It can be, if there is a huge group of them they can over power you pretty quickly! You have to be pretty careful

    Well the main point of the Nether is so you can go there, figure out where the nether fortress is so you can eventually obtain blaze rods, kind of annoying to do by yourself but it is the option. I just go there for netherwarts and glowstone.

    Ghast ping pong, nether harvest, blaze farm, look for materials, label fortresses and steal some of those fancy Nether Bricks.

    Try to gather quarts for levels or making quarts for a house. I also try to not fall in lava. There are fortresses around so I would try to get wither skulls.

    I go to nether just to collect some nether quartz. I don't go too much there because it's useless and boring. I already have a blaze spawner inside my faction base, so we don't have to travel to nether every time to find it.

    I collect Nether quartz on the off chance I need it (usually for redstone contraptions). More often I'm building a Nether hub, like what's on the Mindcrack map. My last hub was made mainly with sandstone and stone brick, a nice contrast with the very ruddy nature of the Nether.

    I was starting work on a simple Blaze grinder, but I got bored. I ended up starting a new map anyway.

    I mostly do it because the XP grind there is better than in the normal world.

    I get Glowstones and quartz there. Nether is a dangerous place for me to go there. Sometimes I fight the mobs there but I get killed fast.

    I like to roam around the strongholds and kill some pig zombies.
