What do you think about ComputerCraft?

    This is a mod for Minecraft which puts programmable computers in-game. Thesen can be programmed to do many things, like moving around in a certain order, putting down blocks or digging, and so on using a custom programming language in-game.
    The logic of the language is similar to many modern programming languages outtside of the game, such as Java or C++. What do you think, wouldn't it be cool of we could learn basics of programming in such a fun way in school?

    That's really neat! If I had any aptitude at all for stuff like that, I would check it out. Since I don't, I think I'm going to make a trip over to youtube and watch what other people do with it!

    I think its an fantastic mod, I also do like your way to learning basics of programming in a fun way, is there ever a better way than finding the resources for your own computer? :)

    That's pretty cool, but unfortunately I have no idea how any of that stuff works. It's definitely an awesome idea though!

    That is....AWESOME. I would love to learn programming in a fun way, I did try to go to school for it but I mean the classes were so boring it was like watching paint dry.

    This could be a really cool tool to introduce people to programming and get more people interested, I like it!

    It seems interesting, but I think it'd be cooler if it was an actual language, that way you could learn effective programming out of the game.

    I'm a total idiot when it comes to programming. I watched it and thought that there are a lot of commands. Way too complicated for my intelligence.
