What do you want from a new version of Minecraft?

    Personally, I'd want some form of dynamic events. Maybe have it so that there are random times of rain, and sometimes there will be thunderous weather? Or have it so that if you are in a desert biome, there will be random times of dust storms. You could even have some form of 'blizzards' in the snow/ice biome.

    Those ideas are actually very good. Have you submitted those to minecraft? Because you definitely should. I'm starting to imagine how that would affect gameplay, especially concerning about what benefits and disadvantages weather patterns have on players and the terrain.

    Weather events would be a cool addition. As far as a new version of minecraft, I'd like to see some new building materials and perhaps some new items added to the game. It'd give the game a completely new feel and more options gives players more freedoms to do different things.

    Agreed, right now it's quite limiting in what materials and items you can make. They should try and find a way of adding more 'unique' items that are difficult to obtain to make the game more rewarding.

    we really need some new bosses in my opinion currently there are not enough. The ender dragon is quite hard to defeat but once it is done there is not much to do apart from build.

    I think it might help if they made survival more challenging. Maybe after giving some time for people to reinforce their bases, I think there need to be more difficult mobs and more progression in terms of armors and weapons that you can use. Maybe even using gunpowder to make firearms and constructing steel spike traps or something. That way it would feel like a challenge again, to survive and thrive in the world.

    Just generally adding more zones would be good as well, possibly with more bosses and a deeper story as to what the minecraft world is all about. Like what *is* the nether and what is the void? As mentioned there would be unique or special items you can find in these very challenging zones

    In would like more goals to complete. I need to say, minecraft itself is really nice, and it does have quite a few goals that you can reach, but everything sorta… stops after you defeat the Enderdragon. It makes things a bit boring after that, and you need to rely on mods for some nice gameplay. So, more bosses and drops would be a must for me.

    Better graphic options. Seriously, I hate having to wait for Optifine every time a new update is out in order to play without lag. I want to be able to turn off rain or other animations without having to download a mod.

    I'd like to see more options available for the 360 version. I know we won't ever have all the mods and all that, but I'd like to see them add some of the more popular options. Skins aren't enough for me.

    One thing I would really like to see in a new version of minecraft is improved, modern graphics. I think modern graphics would make minecraft a lot more immersive and fun to play.
