What do you want in future DLC?

New stories, new characters, new weapons, new everything. Since this game is probably going to have microtransactions, that'll come in as well. I don't know what they'll give in their future DLC, but I just want more story once I beat the game.

 

To the OP: What on earth makes you believe there's going to be a "ton" more DLC for this game??... Yes of course this game will have DLC , I doubt there will ever be a game going forward without having DLC considering its another way for the developers to get more money from the consumer's.... However for this game I do not see a lot of DLC coming for it.. Multiplayer will not be able to compete with FPS games so they will not be releasing map packs and extensive options for MP the way they do for COD or BF. And if.... "If"... this game doesn't turn out to be a flop.. there may be a short campaign DLC. Even the best and most popular action games did not have much DLC as there just isn't much to add to them without taking away from the inevitable sequel.. In short, if the game turns out better then what most thought, and warrant DLC.. We'll get a short additional campaign DLC and maybe a bonus pack with a few unlockables for the MP part of it. They should do what Mass Effect did and give us a ton of free stuff for MP. Mass Effect knew they wouldn't have the audience for there MP part of the game to compete with power house MP games (mostly FPS's) So they released a stream of free content...character, weapons, maps.. to keep players coming back. I certainly did and it was a smart tactic as I played the ME MP a lot longer then I thought I would and actually really did enjoy it.

 

More Tiers, make ranks more exp apart, create a better layout for The Wickerman as the current one is horrible and i blast anyone who chooses it!

 

Also, an actual pregame lobby that has a list of people in the lobby so you can choose who you would like to pair with. This will save waiting for nothing if nobody else is waiting

 

How about the ability to have up to four people playing. Also I would like to see a survival mode, no health gain whatsoever. No gods, just you your gear and endless waves of enemies. Everytime you get 10 waves completed you get a item, or more cash. Maybe change items for each tier so you can have full sets with special bonuses depending on number of set items you have. Lastly, lets give rarity to items, common, uncommon,etc. Or at least more tiers for god items or hitting lvl 100,200,300 you get new skin or item you can only get for said challenge. Okay. That's it.

Maybe a mode where you can fight other players gladiators and then have a leader board for top ranking.
Then along with that then u could have several multiplayers on at once fighting against each other or in teams.

I was surprised that one on One was not an option .

 

this game is great, but it gets boring doing the same things over and over, what I want to see in the dlc is new fighting styles. two swords, spear and shield and net with trident. each with their own executions, bringing you a better gladiator experience. I feel this will make the game 10x as good

 

I would love to see some form proper coliseum input, that and or the hippodrome to be incorporated or something along those lines, it would be quite fun I think anyway.

 

One of the main things I would like is to have all the maps put into the solo arena. Sometimes it's hard to find people to play with and the 3 solo maps get boring to play after a while. That and maybe introduce lions and stuff. Like they had in the real are as. Might get a few complaints from animal lovers though!

 

They aren't real animals so it would hardly matter, plus my return to that argument is generally, if you don't like it no-one is forcing you to play it, I quite like the idea you have though.

 

I want some additional story missions and quests. Maybe some new weapons and stuff like that. I'm excited

 

Well what the multiplayermode really really needs (besides more levels) are new weapons and executions! This game is kind of simple and also a bit repetitive, which isn't necessarily a bad thing - I can enjoy that, but for that enjoyment to last I would prefer to chose between differnt weapons: axe, two swords, two axes, mace, trident + fitting (and moooore) executions for the new weapons.

Oh, what's really annoying is that you can't look arround when you are downed - it would also add a little something to the experience if, when you are downed, you would be able to crawl/drag yourself to the other player. But only for a timed period - not the whole downtime - after that you have to knee and wait again to be revived.

One more thing I need for this game is a 3 or 4 player mode - I always find myself in the stupid situation that I have to choose if I play Ryse with my brother, or he plays it with a friend of his or I with a friend of mine - would be awesome if 4 gladiators could fight in the arena together - 4 Player Executions ;-)

And last but not least - maybe not in this game, but why not in the sequel - more gore! yes ryse already it's violence, but there is still room for more. Beheading, cutting enemys in a half (horizontal/vertical),slicing the guts out and so on.
