What does your current base look like?

I've recently started a new Minecraft world, so I don't have a base built just yet.
I have three double chests in an open area, along with a crafting bench and a few furnaces. There are animals pens in the near vicinity. I did build a zombie xp farm a few days ago and have prettied-up the ravene where it is situated. I used dark wood slabs and logs to make it.
I might expand it and add a storage area. This way, I can have a proper base undergronud, away from scary mobs!

Do you have a base? What does it look like? Did you build it above ground or down below?

I don't have a screenshot right now, but it's a 4x4 chunk base with about 60 watered walls from bedrock level to sky limit. It's an enormous base and we're still working on the inside rooms. We're currently focusing on defenses, however. We're going to be implementing several creeper grinders, blaze grinders, cow grinders, etc. We also have a huge cacti farm surrounding the base.

Current? It's in the works, barely started, but I'm mining all the way down to bedrock until I can get a multilayer skyscraper.

My current one is built into the side of a mountain with plenty of dead ends and twists and turns. Kept hitting lava for a bit when i was digging out the floor but it was well worth it. I have a few wolves roaming around the area in front and a barrier or two to slow down anything so i can see it coming well before hand.

I have a small castle with a dungeon that I use as a basement. The underground part is huge, and eventually I'll build a bigger castle around it and make it the royal quarters.

Victorian mansion sounds amazing! Do you have any pictures to share? I would love to see it and perhaps get some inspiration from your build.

Currently I live in the side of a mountain that I dug out and then made a long stairway into a mine. I think it's nifty and I have no inclinations to move anytime soon. The last place I had was a small desert island that I had ferried like 100 cows too. I called it cow island.

Huge castle surrounded with like 3 rows of stone walls and traps placed all inside my base. I also built some watch towers and a river around my castle so it looks pretty much medival.

I'm doing a rebuild right now.. There's aspects of it I'm really not really liking so I'll post some when I'm done with that..

Well....on my single player I am pretending there is a zombie apocalypse and I found a village I tore down and rebuilt a little of (so far). It took a long time to find a map I liked. It's survival with cheats on so I could put zombie spawners everywhere with command blocks. I wasted a lot of time because I am certain they do not work unless they're uncovered :(.

I mined the hell out of a nearby messa and built a wall...then I just built it castle style. It's alright :). It has farms and storage in the houses and underground (which was hard cause the darn thing is right over a ravine).

On my miltiplayer it is a beachhouse with massive storage. On another multiplayer it was a castle just starting out..

    I miss that castle :'(.

On my single player world.. My base is in a forest.. It's a huge tree house type thing, but it goes underground too.. It's pretty great.

Alunny, those are impressive builds you have there! I really like the castle and mesa biome wall! Thanks for showing them to everyone. :)

Mine is just an underground base because it's on a multiplayer server where griefing it allowed.

How do you protect it from griefers? Do you have an entrance that you cover up with dirt blocks so it's practically impossible to spot it or do you have any other methods?

If you could count a small shack and a tiny farm, I guess it could be named a base. To be honest, I'm having a hard time finding the perfect foundation so I'm just keeping it simple with what I got so far.

My base is in a cave because I like to pretend that it's the Batcave. I made a Batmobile replica but is nowhere alike, haha. Not a lot inside, just the required tools and basic things.

It's just a hole in the wall with the door. I'm kind of tired of making my base look cool now since most of the time other players just destroy it so there's really no point in making it look good.

Mine is an enormous parkour. Throwing ender pearls making you teleport is really fun.
Trying to aim at the exact spot is fun/hard, but it took a lot of time into making it.
I don't play Minecraft much, but when I have time, I usually enjoy it.
