What enchantment is the most useful to you?

    My favorite, and most useful enchantment is the efficiency enchantment on pickaxes, it allows you to boost your mining productivity so much that it is just amazing. I love maxing out efficiency on a diamond pickaxe, and just going mining. After doing that, i can come out with an abundance of resources, but the only bad thing is that my pickaxe breaks a lot quicker.

    Fortune is really nice for harvesting tons of diamonds. Unbreaking is probably the second best. Efficiency does,'t really matter for me. It's nice but unnecessary.

    Unbreaking enchantment is also probably the second best enchantment to me, it is great to have a tool that pretty much never breaks, it saves a lot of resources in the long run when you do that with your things.

    My favorite enchantment is probably the Fortune one. It gives me MUCH more diamonds than a regular pickaxe, the small downside is that I have to use quite a lot of experience points to achieve a Fortune III enchantment on my pickaxe.

    Fortune is also another good enchantment, I love getting extra things from my mining, but with efficiency you mine faster anyway so you could probably get the same amount of diamonds as a pickaxe that was enchanted with fortune III. Do you have any tips on grinding a lot of XP for enchantments though, I usually die a lot when I try to.

    I really like fortune, as you can get a lot of valuable resources with it, but efficiency is probably my second because it speeds things up a lot.

    I'm pretty terrible with enchantments, but as a lot of people have said, I'd agree with efficiency. The one time I tried it, I loved it. I'm just not a fan of building the experience to enchant something to the point of having it be a perfect tool. ;)

    I am torn between the two of those and I don't think I could pick a favorite! I like doing things fast yet Fortune provides a lot of good stuff.

    As a PvPer myself, the most useful enchantment for me is either the Sharpness or Fire Aspect enchantment on my swords. Efficiency is the most useful enchantment for me when I'm using a pickaxe, however. Faster mining = less tedious and more loot. I find most of the enchantments to be useless, however.

    If I could only choose one enchantement to have in the entire game, I would want it to be fortune!

    Getting ores is so much easier with it, and it makes a big difference. A fortune 3 pickaxe will yield you twice as many diamonds as a normal one!

    Another thing I like about fortune picks is that you never ever have to see cobblestone again. Every stone block you mine will retain the lovely smooth texture, without smelting cobblestone!

    Fortune is good and Efficiency. I like the fire enchants as well for when you are killing mobs and such as well as players. Not really a big PvPer though as there is not a lot of skill that goes into PvP Minecraft.

    I like Fortune and Unbreaking, although you could make an argument for tons of other enchantments. Without a doubt, they're all useful in the right situation, but some of them do require a lot of experience.

    I also liked Fortune and Unbreaking. Seems like there's no competition to the two. Having more diamonds and having more durability are no doubt most useful to me.

    Flame on bows is amazing, you can kill everything you want! Infinity is also awesome as well. Other than that I like feather falling as I jump really far without dying!

    I feel the efficiency enchantment on pickaxes is the most useful. It makes mining so much easier and faster and this leads to more items crafted overall.

    I think this depends on what tool, but I'm going to say flame on bows, sharpness on swords, and efficiency on anything else. Protection for armor :p
