What game do you have the fondest memories of?

For me it's Runescape. I played that game for quite a few years, and only quit when I got into highschool so I could focus on schoool work instead of video games. Every so often I'll get a subscription for a few months and then take another break.

Kingdom of Loathing! I've played that game for 10 years now, and I'm STILL playing!
It's not technically an MMORPG, but it's one of those games that isn't really something that you can throw in to one particular genre.

Where else can you club baby hellseals to taunt a mother hellseal in to attacking you just so you can kill her and take her brain?

Runescape. It's the game that taught me to stay away from gambling. I lost around 1100 dollars worth of in-game gold and items gambling in duel arena.

I remember playing World of Warcraft at my cousins and he played the Orcs vs humans version and was amazing how you could build your cities and also make your own men and also collect gold too and do mining. The game was a good one for the time it came out and also, enjoyed how you could control what would happen and knew when enimies would come and enjoyed building bombs and defenses to prevent them from coming to me. I also, liked how the music was nice and also you could enjoy the game and relax as well while playing.

Ah, RuneScape. It was such an amazing game till it got ruined and I agree completely with Igdg, it made me realise that gambling is awful and it can get addicting in real life, so staying away from gambling is really useful because I always kept losing my in game currency and I kept generating more and putting a lot of effort into it, then losing it again. It taught me what would of happened if I actually decided to gamble in real life, I would be vulnerable just as anyone else would be to be addicted to losing all.

Probably Dungeon Fighter Online, despite it's constant need to go away and come back. It's the closest thing I've ever gotten to a game where I want to party with others rather than solo the whole thing alone despite it being an MMO. I would spend hours doing missions, etc. for fun when I had time on my hands.

Yes, Runescape also told me that investing your money this obliviously was probably the worst idea one could have, haha. 1100 dollars though? I spent only 300 and I honestly thought that no one would invest as much as me for that, haha.

Perfect World for me. Met so many people there and some became really good friends IRL until now. Great game! <3

I did it in game, I lost more than 1000 Million worth of GP on gambling in the game, and they costed at that time more than 500 dollars. It taught me, stay away from gambling in real life, because it has a lot of negative mental affects that keeps you from returning to gambling till you lose.

I think my fondest memories of gaming come from EQ. Even though I didn't play for long, and I didn't really enjoy the game (Especially in hindsight), I was in a new relationship with a gamer who got me into it. We played together, and it was fun. I remember there being this log in some forest (I was a dark elf) and I would get soooo lost in this forest, and I would come across this log and be like "$#@% OMFG this log again, where is the zone exit?!" lol. I also remember the books to get you into the Plane of Knowledge, and he helping me with my epic weapon, and I made a couple friends that became friends on Facebook and it was just kind of fun. I remember this one kid (we were both 17) was about to go to college and major in like, physics or something. We're still Facebook friends (its been about 8 years) and he works for the government now.

Ragnarok for me. I remember waiting my friends to go online whenever I go home from school. I wish I could bring back the old times.

    Planetside 2.

Holding a warpgate while your faction desperately tries to capture the last few territories needed to dominate the continent, a few hundred players log in. Hoping, praying, that the enemies don't spawn a MAX, your squad has no more resources, no grenades, no spawn points. Panic over the comms as we lose the point, with 1 minute till we lose the hex, but 45seconds till our faction capture the last remaining territory. 7 people, unknown to eachother, shouting obscenities and supports, just TRYING to claw the point back.

We manage... It flips to purple. 10 seconds left. 5. 1.

    WARPGATED.

We own the continent. The enemies logout in droves, cursing a broken game, crappy teammates, split coke and bruised egos. We held that continent for 3 weeks. Unheard of. I made friends that night. With people in my squad, on the Outfit mumble server, and later, on the forums. It was quite possible the best gaming session I'd ever had.

    Then the game changed :(

I have the fondest memories of two different games (I can't choose one!) My first MMORPG was Fiesta Online, and although I don't care about that game anymore, I did have a lot of fun and got to play with a lot of fun people. I also got my RL friends to play the game while we were in college and that was fun.

The second game was Perfect World. I had fun with a lot with my guild mates in that game as well but people started not playing the game as much. I don't play Perfect World much at all now, I just login to see the few friends that still play. I played Perfect World after I was done with Fiesta and I was captivated by it because of all the fashions and also you can fly around to places on that game. I was very happy because the fashion on Perfect World was dyeable and it was permanent, whereas in Fiesta the fashion mostly lasted as long as 30 days. Perfect world is also a fond memory to me as well because that is where I ended up meeting my husband.

I have good memories of GTA San Andreas and project IGI. These were the first two games I played on my computer.

GTA San Andreas is a very old game but still there are people who love playing this game and I am one of them.

RuneScape for me as well. It's not just how the game worked back then (it was perfect), but also the friends and experiences I had. The old party house in Falador, the old Grand Exchange where you could just hang out. I missed farming giants as well for the giant bones you could sell for a decent price. Unfortunately I don't think I will ever meet my friends from RuneScape ever again.

Fondest MMO game would have to be World of Warcraft. It has been more than ten years and the game felt like nothing else I had ever played before, during and after. To me, it was the most epic experience I had ever had. I met a lot of different types of players, made some friends, experienced many different dynamics. I often think back on those individual moments and wish I could replay those moments again, to get those feelings back just for that moment.

Ragnarok for me. My cousins made me play this game years ago when I took vacation on my Grandma's house . I played this game for 10 hours a day and play this game everyday. My cousins help me level up and in one day my level turn to level 40. And it was awesome and quite addictive to play this game.
