What happend to the RPK 74?

    I think it was a pre-order from Gamestop. It is in the game if that is what you are wondering.

    Yes it's a pre-order bonus for GameStop. And a few countries in Europe and East Asia.

    It seems strange, But I don't think Steam had the RPK included in the Pre-order bonus and yet I seem to have the weapon In-game alongside with the AKS-74u.

    Not that I'm complaning or anything. but isn't it only suppose to appear when you pre-order it from Gamestop or get the limited edition in certain countries ?

    Not just GameStop - the offer was available in many stores across Poland, and I think Australia and the UK as well.

    Then again, Does GameStop have any other stores affiliated with them? That would answer it.

    Interesting.
    GameStop Marketed & Stated it was an exclusive to them only.
    The RPK-74 was an GameStop exclusive.


    Limited Edition titles (PC, Xbox, PS3) included: Ranger Mode, 100 MGR, & AKS for Free.
    They were sold world wide.

    Pre-ordering the game just guaranteed you a copy.
    When the limited Editions sell out, Thats it.

    It would be interesting to see if anyone else got it in the game.
    Plus to find out if it is already in the game, pre-order or not?

    I guess you would need a copy of the regular (Metro: Last light) title to
    find out. Not the Limited Edition

    I don't call getting the Gun early in the game a bonus or exclusive.



    I just might have to give GameStop Customer service a call.

    I preordered on Steam and it only said I would get Aks74u, ranger mode, digital comic and 100 MGR.
    But I also got the RPK for some reason. Not complaining tho..

    I wonder...

    Is it possible that since the Novel was only exclusive to U.S customers on steam. That the RPK was implemented for everyone else out the U.S ?

    Of course, this thought falls flat if people from the U.S got the RPK on steam.

    Good question!

    When I got home with my Metro: Last Light - Limited Edition
    on May 14, 2013

    I had two codes to enter.
    One was in the Case, For the Limited Edition
    2nd was on my GameStop reciept, It was for the RPK-74
    "Which I still have" It stated Code Expires 12/31/13

    Can you really confirm that you got the RPK-74 from Steam?
    Did you have to unlock it via a code?
