WHAT IF MINECRAFT DIDN'T EXIST?

Well, then it wouldn't exist. Life would still go on normally, it's not like it changed the whole way the world thinks or something. Games like Terarria would be much more popular and the collection of mods more wider, it would probably be more developed as well and updated more often.

 

I'd probably be playing more mature games. I don't play Minecraft as much as I used to, so it wouldn't really make a difference, except I would have gotten a lot more sleep back in the day. So that would be the only two differences really.

 

I don't really play it all too much anymore anyways. I'd probably just be playing other games that I already play, but more often.

 

There would probably be a similar game compared to Minecraft. I'm sure someone else would be inspired by Infini-Miner and make a blocky type game.

 

Probably something completely different...Football manager?!

 

I'm a gamer. I would be playing some other game and obsessing over it just like i do over Minecraft. There wouldn't be much of a change in my life or world, just different scenery.

 

What if there were no hypothetical situations?

 

Well, for starters: If something didn't exist as a hypothetical situation, and you were at one point affected by it - You are no longer the same person in that world, that's an entirely different person who'd be looking back, asking an entirely different set of questions.

So I don't really know.

 

Nothing? I would never play it and never get addicted to it, but probably to a different game.
It's not that my life would lose sense or what answers did you expect us to write?
It's of course something that we love, but hey life goes on!

 

I'd probably be playing some LEGO alternative game. Creative games are fun

 

If Minecraft was gone, the world I'll see will be less blockish. Well, I guess if Minecraft never existed, I would've been grinding at an MMORPG or playing FPS games in first person.

 

Well since I am a Computer gamer, I usually play several games at one time. I have to have a certain amount of games to fit every mood I have. Minecraft is my "I just want to relax" game so if that didn't exist, I would probably be playing 7 days to die as it is a game just like Minecraft.

 

If Minecraft didn't exist, I think I would've gotten more into drawing. If I didn't use up all my building ideas in Minecraft, then I probably would have just drew all my ideas. I'll also be playing some other creative game, as I am a pretty dedicated gamer.

 

YEah life would go on as usual, I wouldn't commit suicide or go on a quest to find someone who had a copy if it didn't exist. I would probably play more Civilization 5 because those are usually the two games I play on my Macbook.

 

Well, if Minecraft didn't exist, I probably would've spent a lot more time doing better things, haha. Along with that, I wouldn't have as much friends as I have right now. Most of the friends I play with today, even on different games, I met on Minecraft. Minecraft communities have introduced me to programs such as Skype, and even introduced to me the idea of DDoSing because of the amount of servers that can get DDoS'd by players.

 

If it doesn't exist then it doesn't exist. Since it never existed, we wouldn't have known Minecraft and there wouldn't have been any emotional attachment at all. We just go on with our gaming lifestyle and play games that exist. On another note, if Minecraft doesn't exist I would've had a lot more free time to complete other games and get a lot of things done in life.

 

I think if Minecraft didn't exist we would all be playing Terraria, or would Terraria not exist as well since there was no Minecraft to influence it?

 

Here's the thing, a lot of people will say that life will go as normal if we didn't have Minecraft. That's false. Minecraft really started the wave of indie games, considering that Minecraft is one of the most, if not the most, successful indie game turned mainstream out here. If there was no Minecraft, then Youtube would serverely end up having not a lot of views because of the massive successful Minecraft channels. Channels like Syndicate, Captain Sparklez, SkyDoesMinecraft and BajanCanadian, channels that revolve around Minecraft for the most part, won't have a lot of content or might not even be there at all. Especially channels like SkyDoesMinecraft and the rest following. Minecraft influenced a lot of things, so no, life wouldn't go really accordingly if you really think about it.

 

I'd probably be playing Runescape or found another game to play rather than Minecraft. I can easily go to mmobomb or mmohut to find some online game to play.
