What is the best creation you ever saw destroyed?

    There's nothing more satisfying than finishing a big project, but there's nothing worse than see it all fall apart. Have you seen wilful acts of destruction? Momentary lapses that ended in disaster? Or an unhappy artist that just decided to tear it all down? I'm imagining a thread full of horror stories, but feel free to post any uplifting stories too. If the idea of a project is to build up then destroy spectacularly, I could imagine that being both satisfying and quite a show! Bonus points if you can direct us to somewhere we can see what you're talking about, but well described stories are excellent too!

    I don't remember the exact video but someone did a replica of The Titanic in Minecraft then blew it all up, it was epic! You can probably find it on Youtube.

    One time I made a really nice, HUGE mansion and my best friend destroyed it because it was made of oak wood. Luckily it didn't autosave, I exited and it was fine. Thank god!

    My friend often tries to make Minecraft trolling videos. He will make his own worlds and claim that the Mansion will have randomly appeared. He will then send the victim into the mansion or cave, dress up like demented Steve, and try to scare the victim. I have called him out on how unoriginal this is. At one point he threw a fit and started yelling at me, really mature for someone in 9th grade. I eventually said I was sorry and asked him to invite me to one if his worlds that he made. I asked him if we could troll a random. He said yes. He found a kid who obviously knew about what my friend was doing. While my friend was giving the Herobrine backstory I lit the inside of the mansion on fire and blew parts of it up. I asked my friend to save the world, he did. I then put him on ignore and haven't talked to him since. It's been a few months since this event. Every time I remember this day I start to smile.

    I once made a sand sculpture that was some 100 x 100 blocks in size, which reached the skybox. It was only supported by one torch at the bottom, so once it was done, the server gathered around it, watched the torch break and have it all fall down :D

    Like someone else mentioned, I once made a giant mansion-like structure only to have it destroyed! It was heartbreaking, and I never managed to retrieve it!
