What is the coolest thing you have built in MC?

    Minecraft allows you to create anything you can imagine that can be shaped with square blocks. From the basic interactions between wood, stone, glass, water and other materials, you have all the tools you need to craft complex and dynamic objects and environments. So what I want to know is what is the coolest or most time consuming thing you have dedicated yourself to build in minecraft? My son and I once took three weeks to build a giant size version of the Black Pearl for Pirates of the Caribbean.

    A whole city in a ravine. It looked so cool at night, with the lightning and how it radiated outwards from it when you looked from the surface. I originally found a mine there and I thought it'd make a nice structure if I expanded it into a miner city.

    Anything that involves redstone! I always get amazed when I successfully build something out of redstone, whether it's by myself or done through a tutorial.

    A city with 48 buildings and oil factories. I only built by myself and it was satisfying. Building something like that was amazing.

    I created a big survival base on a prison server. It looked very weird, yet very cool. I'll upload a picture.

    In my last modded PC save, I made a whole tech building modeled after the digital Beijing building. It was the most creative, and also the largest. On Xbox, I was working on an entire replica of the Academy from Soul Eater, as well as the Fairy Tail Guild, from Fairy Tail. Though I never quite finished them, I always go back and add pieces. The Guild and The Academy were both taking days to complete small tasks. I intend on going back and finishing them soon, though.

    Right now I am in the process of building Notre Dame Cathedral, hopefully it all goes well. Before this monstrosity though, I guess the coolest thing I had made was a Japanese pagoda that was on top of the biggest mountain I could find. I love using the natural scenery to my advantage, and this was just perfect, in my opinion anyway.

    I built a chinese village on top of a regular village. I redesigned the houses to that they would fit the chinese architecture and also built some interesting things there! :)

    Not sure what is the coolest. I'm a huge fan of redstone, so I've made a number of really cool creations from redstone. Namely I've made a monorail with Pistons and a Piston elevator. Both of my own design. I incorporated both in a survival world once. That is probably close to if not the coolest thing I've ever done in Minecraft. It was really really awesome to finally finish. If you can't tell I'm a huge redstone fan.
