What is your favorite non-meta pick to play with friends learning the game?

I have a few friends that plan on learning how to play league soon, so I'm going to be teaching them in bot games about the basics of the game. What are some of the most entertaining champions and builds that are fun to play in bot games? One of my favorites is full AP Tryndamere.

Quinn or Karma Mid/Top, really strong champions which carry games hard if mastered, I won countless times simply because my opponents didn't know how to play against these ones. They're also fun.

I still remember when AP tryndamere was super popular and people were choosing him all the time in ranked. It's still super fun to play but it's way less effective.

Heimerdinger, it is always funny to see people underestimate the turrets.

I just choose all random, even in Dota, so I can get to learn the characters and item builds that I normally wouldn't touch. It's a great learning experience, and you get to have fun too, because there's no pressure in these games, as you can't really blame yourself for playing poorly because you are not familiar with your character. It's a learning process, and playing random characters is the way to do it.

I just do ap Janna because I think that's one of the more common ones and I think it's one of the easier ones to understand because it's pretty straight to the point. Other champions might be a bit too complex and I worry they will get confused and bored.

Hecarim all the way in jungle position so I can switch or go to them anytime. Heca is speedy and has high damage-- he can defend newbies anytime.

Well I'm practicing full AP Veigar with my friends, but most of the time I play Nunu full AP or Galio. Sometimes I would play AP or Tank Teemo.
