As the title says: what is your favourite biome?
Mine would probably be plains, because it is so flat. There is no snow and since it is flat you don't have to clear a lot of terrain before being able to build on it.

Extreme hills. I like the thrill of teetering on the ledge and having to find paths up and jumping from mountain to mountain. I also have a preference for building inside mountains or on top of them. It can be pretty rewarding.

I love jungles because they're so massive and they take ages to explore. There's also always a source of food in jungles and even if there isn't you always have animals. What I love most though is building my Base above ground, attached to the trees were creepers can't get you :p

There is a thread already similar to this but I will elaborate more in why I like the snow biome. It's fun to make igloos and I usually build a shelter underground in this type of biome, it takes a lot of time to take out all that dirt but it looks good, it's like an underground base. :p

    Anywhere but snow biomes.
Snow and I don't get along very well...
I especially like a mountain biome right next to an npc village, so I can literally look down on them.

I prefer Extreme hills biomes because there is more I could do with elaborate castles, pathways, bridges and my creativity seem to overflow more. In the duration of the build, I would look for different view points on how everything comes together, take screen shots and see the progress reveal itself over time. Extreme hills really gets my creative juices flowing.

really like the snowy/grassy enviroment. It has all the basic resources like trees and dirt (to make a farm), it's usually near water or lake and there are a couple of animals (not talking about wolves). The snow makes it cozy and the snowballs are fun to throw at creepers.

I've been checking out the snow/grassy biome a lot and I think I really like it, so I guess it really isn't my favorite but its coming pretty close.

I think my favourite biome is definitely the Jungle Biome. It may be a bit hard on the frame rate, but the colour is definitely really nice. The dark green really looks bold and "shiny" to me. The main thing that really appeals to me is the colour. I just really seem to like it. The Mesa Biome is also really nice. It's composed of clay, which is really useful in my opinion.

I have to say my favorite biome is the jungle. I love seeing Ocelot's and attempting to tame them.

It is true, there is already a thread with this subject matter but worry not, there is only so much that can be posted about Minecraft. People are starting to run out of ideas. My favorite Biome is the desert. I just like it because I love building my first house out of Sandstone, plus it is flat so killing mobs is a lot easier. Don't have to have a heart attack because you didn't see a creeper coming that was hiding behind a tree.

I cannot stand snow biomes, and I won't ever live in them. My favorite vanilla biome has to be the newer mesa biome, just because I absolutely adore stained clay, and the small bits of grass and trees atop a colorful hill is gorgeous.

I really like snowy biomes. It's beautiful and somewhat comfortable. I Can spot the danger easily because of the white blocks.

I would have to say the Jungle biome because I always get lost lol. I think it's fun getting lost though. I also like finding ocelots and climbing up the vines. But a close second would have to be the snow biome.

I like the snow. Whitewolf2578 I agree with you completely, people are running out of ideas on what to post so you see the same thread almost every day with the same people.

Now my biome favourite is an extremely rare one, one that you might not have even set foot on. Guessed it yet? Well, it's the mushroom island biome. It's incredibly rare, which is what gives it it's value and uniqueness, and why it has some special traits very beneficial to the player in survival. I mean, it is the best possible place to life if you want to survive for the longest possible time, after all, no hostile mobs actually spawn in that biome. And what's more, there even hoardes of mooshrooms waiting there for you to harvest, just right click on them with a wooden bowl and bam, a bowl of freshly made mushroom soup. I mean, what's there not to love about free food sources? Other than the mushroom biome, my favourite for creative building would be the extreme hills biome, because I really enjoy shaping a large Kingdom or castle to integrate nicely with the terrain, instead of modifying the terrain to suit my build. The overall effect is very pleasing and satisfying, almost always producing a magnificent structure among the clouds with lots of steam punk elements that fit well with the undulating terrain.

My favorite biome would be the one with all the mushrooms and mushroom cows. It feels like a different game and it is always my favorite place to build or hang out at on the map.

I like the extreme hills biome. Its gives me a chance to escape the mobs and a great place to make a fortress!
