What makes Minecraft so enticing for you?

It's entirely the building for me, I've always loved games where I could express my creativity.

 

I agree, it is the open world and creative aspects that make the game as great as it is. I have seen more people inspired by this game than any other. I know friends that have found their artistic sides because of this game. Being creative and encouraging creativity in others is never a bad thing.

 

It has to be the freedom. Every time you play it's a completely different experience, it doesn't matter if it's the same server it doesn't matter if it is with the same people. Every time you play you get something different. Also the building, the crafting, the fact that its open world, those are the major factors.

 

I think infinite worlds and explorations are the most big factors of the game. There's always new things to explore and the resource gathering it's a fun thing to do too!
The building is also very fun! You can build basically anything you would want and there are a lot of blocks to choose from, making it easier to make different buildings everytime!
What encites me the most are the multiplayer servers. It's so fun to play with other fellow minecraft players and contribute to a community, to make friends and to things togheter and so on!
The devs also work very hard on the game to bring new things every snapshot. I like that too!

 

Like others have said it's pretty much the creative side of things. I like it because it was the first sandbox game that I had ever played and it will probably be my favorite for a long time to come. I also like the ease that most people can just pick up the game and start playing no matter what their skill level. It's fun since it's a whole new type of game for people that haven't ever played anything sand box like. The final thing I like is the way that you can mod your textures and ability packs to hell and back. There are way more expensive games that don't even allow you half of that kind of thing.

 

I love all the small mechanisms in the games. I love rails, redstone and pistons. They all make the game so cool and intricate as you can make various awesome machines and traps. The possibilities are endless!

 

Uhh...Everything? Minecraft is very unique game compared to the other survival games. The graphics is one of the features that captured me. At first I thought this is dumb, but when I played it I was hooked to it.

 

I think it's the open and almost infinite world and the creative parts of the game. It's very rare for a game to have either of the two. Most of the time games that are like that tend to favor the open world or the creative side.

 

Minecraft is fun for both creation and PVP. I love hunting down people and killing them in game, but I'll take some time to build some awesome creations from time to time, too.

 

It's the sandbox aspect of it and the multiplayer capability.

 

I believe it is just the gaming experience and simplicity of the game play and graphics that makes it so enticing to me.
