I have used mods for skyrim, some of which were fun mods some of which weren't worth my time, but there's mods that I wish were available to mess around with. One mod I have wanted from the start of the game, was to play as a Dragon. Now I don't know if there's a mod for it, might have to search and find out, but I would welcome a mod like this with open arms. What about you all, have any mods you'd like to see in skyrim?
I bet the modding community has already put those type of mods out. Really asking for any is basically asking to find them. I don't know if this mod exists or not, but I would welcome mods to be say Iron Man, The Hulk or even Batman. Imagine being Batman in Skyrim. I bet there's mods like this already out there though. If not, someone make it happen.
Anything you can think of, they are probably making it already in the skyrim modding nexus. Personally I'd just like to see graphical mods and immersion mods, along with patches that fix problems that Bethesda has not even touched. While there are tons of graphical mods and immersion mods out already, it's always nice to see the modding community bring out more.
I'm not sure I can think of anything that isn't already available. You just need to know where to look. The Skyrim modding community is massive and I'm sure they've got whatever you can dream up!
I'd like to see a proper dragon riding mod. I know a single one, but the controls still remind me of the real controls of the dragons. Anyone know a good dragon riding mod out there? OR a multiplayer mod? Such as skyrim-online, just one that is still under active development? (They didn't stop, just slowed down a lot)
I would like to see a mod that would better show buff duration also having a mod that has real time would be useful as well.
I would like to see all the silly mods from Oblivion ported over. It's kind of disappointing to visit Skyrim Nexus after a year and see much less from the modding community than Oblivion. I think it's because they didn't release the tools in a timely manner so a lot of the modders kind of just dropped off and went off to do their own thing. But the mods that I'm missing the most are the crowded cities and crowded roads mods. Skyrim has their own versions but they're nowhere near as good.
There a couple of mods that expand upon the dragon-riding element in the Dragonborn expansion. For those not in the know, everyone was totally excited about being able to fly around the world on a dragon, but it turned out that when you called the dragon it would only really fly around in this loose, but set figure-of-eight shape and you really had minimal control. So disappointing, especially because you had to play through the entire expansion before you even got the ability.
I would also like to see more ride able creatures not just dragons, but also maybe camels as well they could be extremely slow but have a high carry weight.
I'd love to see an Attack On Titan mod! Unfortunately it'll never happen since it needs hours and hours of work (assuming it's even possible to pull off...).
Cooking in Skyrim is too simple and not rewarding at all. All it does is give you minor buffs for a short duration of time, though using it as a way to regen some health is not a real option. My character has more than 500 hit points and eating a whole venison stew only gives back 10 or 15 hitpoints. After searching for cooking mods, I haven't really found something good enough to satisfy my needs. Cooking should be more interesting, with exotic ingredients and many stages of preparation.
Boats! I've seen a few propping up recently, but there are still a few bugs and jagged movements. And of course, with boats, hopefully some sort of sailing-type level expansions/worlds. I can see Assassin's creed-style pirate wars and the like as a possibility.
I think once I complete the game, I would like to play a total conversion game with Steampunk elements. Eg: Arcanum in Skyrim with the same social and mechanical intricacies as Arcanum. However, if you meant something way less epic, then probably a mod that introduces a proper reputation experience. Something that works on a tiered basis. Eg: World Renown (known for...), Nation Renown, Town Rep, then individual relationship.
I am a graphic whore so I would love to see a better texture and details mod, as well as a better water, snow, and hair engines. And of course more funny random mods like cursing crabs, crazy dragon mods, or exploding NPC's.
I would to see a mod one day that makes interactions with npcs feel more real. I hate that the npcs use weird lines that don't fit at all.
