What show or movie would be the better MMO?

    I think Xeelee would be a good candidate. Xeelee's universe, the culture universe, Victorian lovecraft universe, dune universe - all would offer fresh rich material imo, yes plx!

    They had a Dune MMO game in the works back in 2001 called Dune Generations. It looked very cool, but unfortunately, it was canceled. There is actually an MMO game based on the Dune universe called Dune Wars made by some fans. It's a browser based game. If you want to see what it looks like, do a Google image search. It looks pretty neat.

    Regardless, I think the world of Cowboy Bebop would make an interesting MMO game, but it would have to be epic. It will have to give players the chance to become space pirates, merchants, etc. It will also have to give players the chance to travel from planet to planet, to different cities and planetary regions. Of course, such a game would be too massive for any one company to produce. Even SWTOR isn't so massive.

    Harry Potter/Lord of The Rings could be some interesting suggestions for a MMO game. I wish they would do a game with Arrow/Flash, but I can't think of a good concept for the game.

    Besides the obvious Harry Potter, where you go to one of the main schools, you could do one in Pokemon. There could be trainers, nurses, even members of a Pokemon team where you have to rise up the evil ranks!

    There is already a Lord of the Rings MMO called Lord of the Rings Online. I haven't played it in ages but I think it died off, I'm not a hundred percent sure though.

    I think when the series is done a Game of Thrones MMO would be a cool idea--you can fight for different houses (Stark, Lannister, etc) and follow the storyline of all the books/show.

    Really? I would love to check it out if the game is still going strong. I remember playing a Pirates of The Carribean MMO too, but sadly it got shut down but it's on its way back with a brand new developer team.

    It's kind of a newer show, but I really think RWBY would make an awesome MMO. I mean the world is pretty unique, they have insanely cool weapons, cool monsters to fight and it would be just fun. Also, it could be like a guild type game where your team is your guild. Something like that. I haven't 100% thought it through.

    Lord of the Rings could fit so much this role! Though if they ever decided to do that, I hope they wouldn't waste it, lol.

    Isn't there a phone app or something for the Game of Thrones that already essentially does that? As for my own answer, I'd have to go for a Harry Potter MMO. However, with things like Wizard 101 and the browser site Pottermore already in existence, then it's probably not going to happen. Taking this into account as well as the amount of fans to any particular genre, there's really only one feasable answer left for me. We, of course, could make either a MLP MMO or a FnAF FPS MMO.

    Dune would be great if they could pull it off. It has proved almost fiendishly difficult to adapt to the screen already and there's a risk an MMO would be even more difficult to get right.

    What about something like South Park? The Stick of Truth game was very good. Could this be adaptle to an MMO?

    There is a Lord of the Ring MMO, though. It's Lord of the Rings Online. It's not a bad game, though it's as popular as it could have been.

    The world of Firefly/Serinity would be an awesome backdrop and lore for a MMORPG, but it would be a bit like Star Citizen and EVE in gameplay.

    Also, what people don´t mention is that big IPs usually limit gameplay more than they are worth. For box sales they are great, but for gameplay, I would rather have a game with lore designed around A GAME. Also, the money the devs have to pay for the IP means they have less to spend on developing the game.

    The world Harry Potter is set in would make a great MMO! Someone once suggest a Fallout 3 type gameplay, but in an Harry Potter universe setting. Also, you might be able to make an MMO out of Mad Max Fury Road too? I heard that Mad Max is already getting a game though?

    Harry Potter would be nice, but I also think RWBY would be nice too. I really love the show. And as for HP, the Book and the movie was great and I know it will be fun if it will have a MMO game.
