What was the last game you bought?

Platform doesn't really matter, but for PC and actually bought, i.e., not received for free and not a F2P game.

For me it was Rocksmith 2014 that I wanted to get to PC (I already own it on PS3) because of the CDLC content that is really worth purchasing the game for a second time.

The very latest game I bought was Guild Wars 2, for which I paid around $30-$40-ish if I remember right. This doesn't truly matter though... what counts is that I had a lot of fun playing this game, and I made some friends in it, too, haha. My biggest surprise was that I found a fellow guy from my town, and we actually met in real life. Talk about fortune, aye?

Wait, platform doesn't matter, but then you narrow it down to PC. I don't understand.

I bought GTA V for the PC a few weeks ago.

I bought GTA V and a new copy of FIFA 15 for a friend's birthday.
Pretty good games, I recommend them!

GTA:5's online play is more than worth trying it out. I've had easily more fun then I paid for the game. I never really touched story too much; but they weren't bad. I just preferred being my own avatar, owning apartments, many cars, and skydiving/shooting/racing for fun with other friends.

Last one I bought was DESTINY, and I don't care what people say but Bungie has a well coded and solid video game. It's just a shame how they've chopped it up so much for DLC packs. If they included more in their base game, I think it would have drawn an even bigger crowd. I just got done doing a 34 Prison of Elders, and let me tell you Qodron is more a douchebag then the higher level boss in the 35 Prison just because of trickle modifier.

Before that, the last I bought was FFXIV:ARR, which is of course SQUARE-ENIX and their level of coding, story, and everything (even chocobos, multiple mounts, plenty of crafts, quests, player housing, the whole nine yards. And some of the most fun bossfights I've played in awhile in the Extreme Modes.

The last game for me was Skyrim (late to the party, yes I know) and I don't regret a second of it lol. I'm really wanting to buy Witcher 3 but I haven't played Witcher 1 or 2 so I don't know how much of a difference that is going to make or how it will affect game play. Apart from that, I think the last game I purchased was Civilization 4 when Steam had a sale on it awhile back. I personally don't buy a lot of computer games, I mostly play whatever my husband gets for himself.

I bought The Witcher 3 at launch and I've been enjoying it a lot. The combat is fluid, the music is flawless, every side quest feels like and adventure... CDPR have really outdone themselves this time.

I bought Grand Theft Auto V for PC. I haven't regretted that decision at all. Best purchase of the year, by far. Sure, it is a bit buggy, but I finally got to play the game I wanted to play for years!

The last game I bought was Final Fantasy 11. My husband had previously talked about how he had a lot of fun in that game and that the soundtrack was good. I really wanted to try it out so I decided to buy it. It isn't the way it used to be when he had played, there were a lot more people that played. I did see a few people though, it does still seem like a nice game but there isn't may people in the starting areas. I am not sure if there are others in more higher leveled places though.

After a bunch of reviews and comments, all positive, I have to buy the Witcher 3 next. I liked the other ones but wasn't sold. Read reviews after seeing people talk it up here and on other places.

    I see myself being addicted.

Last game I bought was Lego Jurassic World. (If we're talking RPG games though, then it was Kingdom Hearts 2.5)

I bought Project Zomboid off Steam and I'm currently having fun bashing zombies in the head with a frying pan while looting houses for cans of corned beef and chips!

I actually bought the original Dragon Age game again because my copy wouldn't work anymore due to my excessive playing. It really is one of the best games I've ever been fortunate enough to experience. The storyline is very captivating and the gameplay is imaginative and well thought-out. You can really see a lot of effort has gone in to create what has become a classic

Many will disagree but I think Dragon Age is far superior to any rpg outside of world of warcraft

The last few games I bought were Elder Scrolls Online Unlimited, Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm, Pillars of Eternity, Cities Skylines and Poker Nights 2. I like a mix of game genre. If I get stuck playing one type, I get bored and sick of it very easily. So mixing them up gives me a means to diversify the entertainment.

Dragon Age was fun as a game, but as a superior RPG, hardly. The story, 'complexity' (or lack thereof), the mechanics were okay. If you're the type of person who hadn't played through the 1980's, 1990's and 2000's with games such as Baldur's Gate series, Might & Magic series like Darkside of Xeen, Fallout series, Elder Scrolls series like Morrowind and Skyrim, then it's understandable why you would put Dragon Age on a pedestal of 'superiority'.

Also, I wouldn't call World of Warcraft an RPG, even if people play characters. It's more like a Linear Progression Adventure Game with RPG elements. I know Blizzard would like to make people believe WoW is an RPG, but after having spent most of my life playing a myriad of RPG's, WoW would be 'Pong' compared to games that I've mentioned above.

Don't get me wrong though. I enjoy WoW, but I wouldn't call it a superior RPG, let alone an RPG in the traditional sense of the term.

Lineage 2 was the last MMORPG I have bought... or rather it was also the first. I paid for the game and kept paying the monthly subscription money for over a year.

After I got bored with t, I have tried the trial of countless big titled MMORPGs as well as some free to play MMORPGs. None pleased me enough to pay for them.

I sincerely hope there will be some true innovation or just some really interesting gameplay with awesome endless replay value in the MMORPG category. So far it looks like if you have played one, you have played them all... at least to me. They aren't that much different from each other other than graphics design and character/item status/skill set etc.

The last game I bought was the Heart of Thorns expansion for Guild Wars 2.

Its been pretty cool so far with the exception of grinding, grinding, and more grinding. Yay for new content and new stuff to do.

Gliding is so cool, although I wish we could glide outside of the Heart of Thorns area as well. Now that would be really awesome. Hopefully they will make it so we can glide in Tyria as well. :D

I purchased Tales of Zesteria about a week or so ago, I've played it a fair bit and I've been enjoying the game so far.

Bought Fallout 4 on launch, been enjoying it quite a bit so far, even if I'm not happy with some of the design decisions they made.
