On topic, my first level 60 character was my warrior, but I started playing during Burning Crusade so it's not too important there. But I'm sure the number of people who are playing their original Vanilla World of Warcraft character is way, way down there. So my first 70 was my warrior. However, before 70 I started leveling a shaman, and I main my shaman now instead of my warrior. My shaman hit 80 before my warrior, 90 and I'm waiting to see if I really want to play WoD or not.

My warrior still sits a measly 82, lol.

So what class was everyone else's first level 60 character?

My first was a balance druid, it is still my main, but vanilla I became a bear, and now I am usually bear/cat. When they homoginized classes in late BC, they made leveling ranged spell casters too similar. I have alts of every class, so being balance was redundant.

I started in WotLK, so level 60 wasn't the cap back then. Still, on retail I leveled a paladin as my first ever character. When I hopped on a private vanilla server, I leveled a druid. So I guess you could consider the druid as my "first level 60 character".

Surprised to see so much variety here so far cause generally talking with guildies over the years it was usually druid/huntard.

My first level 60 was a draenai priest. My account got banned though so I lost her. I loved that toon.

Druid. I don't remember why, but I definitely did that character injustice. It wasn't nearly as strong as it should have been. :p

Holy/Prot Paladin. I was a main tank AND main healer depending on who showed up. I loved the versatility of being able to be both on one with little to no help aside from multiple gear sets and a respec.

I liked Protting more, but Holy was better for Raids/PVP. Protting in certain zones like Kara were epicly fun.

It was my hunter which I still play a lot. I remember how excited I was that I can finally fly and spent couple hours just exploring the world.

My first one was a Tauren Druid. I was like 12 at the time so it was my brother's char but I played it a little bit. I'm still very fond of that character, especially since I recovered my account recently after like 5 years of inactivity an he had alll the cool stuff from TBC (I leveled him to 70) that isn't in the game anymore.

I got a priest to 60 as my first character. I had experimented with a bunch of classes and gotten things to like level 30 or so, until the guild I was in said I could raid if I got my priest to 60, as there were very few people who played priest back then. I started leveling priest then and just really like how the class played.

I think MoP was the first class I didn't main priest. I still leveled it, but played a pally as my main during that expansion.

I only started playing MoP. I wish I knew about this game back in the beginning like some of you. It would be so interesting to see how the game and story has progressed, rather than just hearing about it.

The first character I got to 60 was an undead hunter. How I got her to 60 I'll never know, because I don't like the class now and I find it difficult to master. I stopped playing her about level 63 and made a blood elf warlock, which is my main now. I'll always be attached to my warlock :)

I am proud to say that my main is still my original huntard from eight years ago! I think I even have my original pet in my stables as well. Now with lone wolf I don't get to use a pet very often. So glad we don't have to feed the little buggers anymore or carry ammo! Ahh the memories...sigh. Of course I do have many alts in I think every class and role...But nothing beats multi-shotting the enemy while jumping over fire! Love my Survival hunter!

Undead Rogue, it was around the holidays so I had two weeks off which I used to grind on the lake in Winterspring. Between 58-60 my guild was amazing taking me on my first few 10 man runs and I even had 2 Shadowcraft items before turning 60, good times.

My first level 60 character was a dwarf hunter during BC. I was slow to level back then I didn't get good at getting characters to max level quickly until Wrath was out for a while. I think it was because I played solo much of the time and got off on a tangent easily when I needed to complete quest lines.

My first level 60 was a night elf rogue, I loved this character dearly and it took me so damn long to get to 60. Once I was level 60 I was raiding molten core and everything, wow those were the days! Now though, I play on horde, and I have 3 level 100s, A Blood elf rogue, a Panda priest and undead mage :)

I was a night elf hunter. I never played the games before the level 80 cap, and I remember being so happy surpassing 50 as it had felt like such a struggle. I haven't played for 3 years now, so when I see people saying they have level 100 characters I'm itching to see if my old sign on still works so I can grind a few more levels.

That said I already know my first night elf was hacked a couple of years back, but I have good memories of her :)
