What was your main character build?

Did you run a tank, or did you sneak around? Feel free to be specific about gear and perks. I preferred offense over defense and sneaking most of the time because it was a little more exciting to me. I see the rewards of sneaking around and being quiet, though.

I always prefer "lighter" builds in RPGs. I don't remember the specific gear and perks I chose, it's been a while since I last played it. I was definitely sneaking and stealing everything though. I mostly wanted to avoid confrontation in dialogues, so to be consistent with that, my character had to be quiet and also able to kill from afar.

I liked having just enough sneak and the ability to steal from people so that I could go that route if I wanted to. I still killed more often than not, though. :3

I made my character a grenade ninja: she would sneak around and use either her Lockpick or Science skills to get around and her main weapon against enemies was to chuck all forms of grenades at them if she didn't slip it into their pockets so they could blow up.

    Good times....

I love trying to be sneaky and persuasive. I like trying to put my skill points into options other than damage output and such.

I remember being sneaky on my first playthrough. I remember when Moira sent me to check out the supermarket, I was sneaking around and trying (but failing all the time) to sneak-kill every raider in there. I'd only manage to get the sneak critical on the first one behind the counter, and all the others would attack me. And, my favorite armor in the game is the Chinese Stealth armor, not only because it turns you invisible when sneaking, but because it looks badass!

Since the first play-through I did, I've always been super sneaky. I always have super high lockpicking skills and I've never been a huge fan of anything heavy. Also, I seem to always choose the black widow perk. It seems from the other posts that others are on my side!

I have played a couple of times, going in guns a'blazin, but I don't do so well...almost embarrassing.

I also preffered going in head on and playing it like a traditional FPS. I mostly built for durability and rifle damage, but I also had some points in meelee combat just so I could smash the head of some annoying enemies in.

But then you wouldn't get to see the huge explosions and guts all the time!

I never really liked melee since I didn't find most of the weapons appealing to me, with the exception of the sledgehammer. I did like using one of the rare swords of the game, but If I stuck with just using a sword, it would be boring...unless it was a sword that made people blow up with you cut them...

I was light and agile. I did eventually get my strength up so I could carry all the stuff I hoarded, but to start I pumped up my Agility and Perception, then sneak and all that other stuff.

I liked to be sneaky when I first played, you know - infiltrate anywhere and just play like I had to be stealthy every time. I also tried to be a meele combateur (I think this is a word) but it didn't really work for me.

I used more of a soldier type character. Pretty standard stuff. Rifles and guns in general were my main weapons. I didn't know what to expect from the game so that's why I did the most standard of characters.

I enjoyed building gun wielding charismatic female thief. So basically the Black Widow, I guess? Not the trait, the one from The Avengers. The art of seduction is amazing in this game. I loved being able to manipulate some NPCs into doing things and seducing my way to the top.

I almost always gravitate towards the chatty sniper archetype, opting for high Perception, Intelligence, Charisma, and Luck, with emphasis on the Bargain, Speech, Small Guns, Sneak, and Lockpick skills. It got to a point where I had to create role playing characters to stop myself from playing the same character over and over, spicing things up a bit each play through.

I've always did an absurd build of different specs and everything. Also including that I enjoy big guns and everything. So I tend to go really big on the Big Guns skills and also Repair. Sometimes I do enjoy trying to sneak and everything. So maximum charisma, or even max luck. I do too many extremes to really play the game fully. They normally falter..
