What weapons do you hope to be in the game?

I just hope it will be easy to switch from different weapon sets on the move without having to go through the inventory, for example shooting arrows from a bow until the enemy gets close, when he does I just click 1 button and I equip a sword+shield quickly.

 

I hope the Daedric weapons stay looking the same I liked the way they looked in Skyrim, especially the greatsword I love the sig and color, but chances are they will change the design a bit.

 

Bows were always so much fun so I'd love to see more of those around!

 

Glass weapons/armor are pretty fantastic. I expect we'll be seeing it as it's been around since at least Morrowind. I'm not sure if it was in the earlier games. Personally I like the look of ebony pieces most of all though. I suspect we may see a number of variants on each of the traditional ES weapons/armor types just to add quantity.

 

Something that is missing from the elder scrolls games is staves as a melee weapon. I like mages and I enjoy using staves to cast spells, but I hate the fact that I have to switch to a sword or something similar when it comes to close combat.

 

I'd love to see some glass armor and weapon designs from Morrowind those were so so cool to look at, I also hope they have a good selection of daggers for thief/sneak builds.

 

I'm hoping that ebony and dragonbone armor are in the game. Glass armor is cool looking, but I'd get really sick of staring at green all the time.

 

I'm definitely hoping for some nice glass armor as it looks amazing in game. I wouldn't mind some nice ebony armor too. But mostly I'm hoping that they have a faster and easier method for changing weapons.

 

I never thought about the weapon switching hopefully they will do something like a toggle switch like a lot of other mmo's have or maybe be able to hotkey your weapons will work as well.

 

I'm definitely going tank. I want a huge and badass shield with a nice 1H axe or sword.

 

I want the return of the endurance-based weapon Spear from Morrowind. Gotta get that endurance maxed.
Also I'd like a solid unarmed fighting system. I dig the damage fatigue first method they implemented, but I hope they improve upon this and add some fun special attacks/animations.

 

Daedric weapons are awesome, I hope they look more brutal though, that goes for Deadric armor too. I wish they come out with more variety for Deadric weapons, I always felt like there weren't enough Deadric type weapons playing Skyrim and Oblivion.

 

Good point. I'd also love to see some proper spears, then again implementing combat using spears might not be the easiest thing to do.

 

anything glass! the glass swords are the craziest things, that and non traditional weapons like spears or ball n' chains

 

Flails would totally be really cool. A daedric flail would look really spectacular i'm sure. But yeah, weapon-switching is an issue that I really hope they address. Maybe crossbows too? I'm not sure though. They'd kinda be like reverse bows, where time is taken after the shot is fired, rather than before.

 

I would like to see a few of the staffs from Skyrim make a return, but not the elemental ones.

 

I hope they bring back and grow on the awesome designs from Skyrim. Especially the Daedric items! You would have to be insane not to want to dress in full Daedric lol.

 

They better have staffs! If not magic users are gonna be horribly underpowered...
