What would you focus on if you could play right now?

i'd try to stick strictly to PvP throughout the beta to find the build that works the best so i can be ready for the game when it's released.

Good post... I might answer a slightly different question of "What will you focus on in your first beta?" Since most of us will preorder and be on the next one.

    Priority 1:
I was thinking I'm going to lock down my class main/alts order and assumptions. (goal: hit the ground running with the right main)

    Priority 2:
Test out race abilities because race is one decision that can not be undone. (goal: hit the ground running with the right main)

    Priority 3:
Get some feedback to my mates so they will stop screwing around with Rift/SWTOR/Dota/LoL (goal: hit the ground running with mah crew)

1 & 2 definitively. I'd be more focused on making sure i pick the right race and profession for my main. I usually focus on 1 main and make alt's more like when an expansion hits lol.

I would have to say PvP mainly and figuring out all the different mechanics in game. There's no real race in PvE and you can sort of work it out as you go, however PvP is always very competitive and if you don't learn the mechanics and tactics quickly you soon fall behind and all the places in good guilds will be gone. Also since many guilds will be carrying over from GW1 with the same teams it's going to be even more competitve. Its never any fun waiting looking for a PUG or Random way team and never winning because you don't have the experience or rank/reputation. :p

Having played in the beta now, I can say that it's a little harder to focus on PvP because there simply aren't enough players to fill the matches. So with this experience in mind I would say I would stick mostly to PvE content, besides, it's pretty easy to do both on the fly ;)

I would focus on experimentation with the three classes I want to play first...

    But most important... character creation!!!:p

Defo the world PVP. During the closed media beta event there simply weren't enough people.

My opinion on this still unchanged. Profession/Race testing to make sure my first non-beta toon comes out of the gate strong. Getting plugged in with the right guild is another focus.

I'm just excited to replace my evening hobby of watching gw2 videos to actually playing gw2.
