What would you like to see implemented?

Honestly I really wish that the tiers were fixed and expanded, you should be able to progress something along the lines of wood / stone / tin / copper / iron and then go into alloys that use mixed metals like bronze / steel / silver / gold and then on into the precious gems which could either be ordered like normal progression or even better the different gems could have different bonus's so they are all equal but different. Diamond could still be the best, although personally I would prefer to see diamond be the best of the basic tiers and have an advanced tier that uses electricity which would be on par with diamond but have extra utility. I know Im asking too much because so far it hasnt even been done to my liking with any mods.

 

I want the torches to emit light when I hold it in my hand! There are already some mods that do that, so I don't see why it couldn't be implemented. Notch sad that is isn't possible a few years ago, but it clearly is now.
