What would you like to see improved with Minecraft?

I want skeletons to be made weaker. Once that is done, my life will be complete. Seriously, they aim from great lengths and almost never miss, dealing a lot of damage with every shot they land. I always flee if I see a skeleton nearby.

 

I'd love to see skeletons not shoot around corners, lol. It's one of those things that is really frustrating and silly, but I would love to see it get sorted out.

 

A major thing that I would like to see improved in minecraft is modern graphics. Modern graphics would make minecraft way more immersive for me to play, but that is just my personal opinion.

 

Better graphics? Just kidding, but I do want to see Minecraft in some sweet HD graphics. I guess it would be the skeletons also, those guys are relentlessly merciless. They can shoot you from miles and miles away, they come out of nowhere and they take a million hits before they go down, I hate those chaps.

 

I don't see what's wrong with the graphics anyway! Minecraft is meant to be pixel style and not fancy

 

I would like Minecraft to have the built-in option for blocky original graphics and blocky shader realism graphics. So still keep the blockiness, but also give the option to render everything in a realistic way. I know there are textures for that, but they don't do enough. I also know there is a shader mod, but that's pretty complicated. I believe having the core items being built-in means it's more stable and consistent.

Another thing is optional built-in mini map, which features of it can be turned off by the MP server.

 

Agree with the Skeletons, they even spawn inside deep caves wtf. I go inside caves to explore and most of the time end up going back up or dying due to Skeletons.

HD graphics though are not that much big of an upgrade as Minecraft is intended to be blocky.

 

I wouldn't mind if skeletons were as strong as they are now but they need to be either made less frequent or easier to kill. I like the thought of them being able to kill you and actually pose a threat.. I just hate running around, encountering a skeleton and then getting massacred.

 

I hate it when they spawn in groups, yeah one or three ain't really a challenge but 5 skeletons that seldomly miss starts hitting you? You're dead, especially if you're in the open.

 

Lol yea, exactly. They don't even give you a chance. :'(

 

Decreasing the strength of the skeletons is a great call. While I do enjoy the challenge of fighting them at times, it's one of those things that can be hit or miss whether you survive or not. Especially when you get ganged on by several of them.

I'm not so sure about the graphics upgrade though. The pixel graphics to me is part of the appeal of Minecraft. Maybe just having a player option to swap to better graphics if they wanted could be a possible solution.

 

Nothing wrong with the strength of skeletons in my opinion. They do have an annoying knockback but atleast they can be killed quite quickly

 

Long overdue for improvement in an update are the seas and the oceans. There's almost nothing worth diving for down there, and nothing dangerous except for drowning. Jeb said on his twitter that they're making a new mob for the oceans though, so there's that!

 

I would love to see more mobs and stuff like machines as in modded minecraft. Not as complicated as most modpacks but just easy things like: Lumbermills, quary's and maybe ways to upgrade those

 

It's great that the mobs are getting updates to become smarter, since this makes for a more interesting and fun game, but lately they seem like a big annoyance. It seems like the skeletons are way to strong and hit every single time. This creates problems for the beginning of worlds.
